As many of you know, I seem to be a real life Snow White with all these animals requiring a home and caring for who end up on my doorstep. This last year I’ve done my best not to increase costs to customers who too many to struggling with the economic crisis which intern I’ve struggled myself. Archie came to me last year, I’m his 4th home and he’s just turned 11. I’ve been having him professionally groomed to help with his knotting hair (won’t let you brush him) and he’s coat is very greasy, the groomer mentioned he might have ‘stud tail’ I’ve been to the vet and infact the reason he can’t groom himself is because he needs most of his teeth out, my poor boy. The insurance don’t pay for dental and unfortunately the savings pot doesn’t come close. The vets says his pain is like ‘when we’ve eaten something hot and it burns the roof of our mouths’ he’ll be feeling this. She has given me morphine for the next 2 week to give to him which was £120 but this isn’t a long term plan due to many factors. Unfortunately as I’m on my own I just don’t have the funds and I absolutely hate asking yet again, I just can’t see any other way but can’t bare to think of him in pain. if anyone would spare even just £1, he could be out of pain sooner rather than later. Thankyou all again so so much.
