My name Moss Davis and I need your help. Regardless if you are a pet owner or not, I hope this cause resonates with you and spurs action. Recently, my beloved dog, Archer, suffered a spiral fracture of his back right tibia while under the care of our cousin, as I was out of town. The resulting x-rays confirmed our worst fears—he would need a complex and invasive surgery to attach pins and plates in order to allow the fracture to heal correctly. When we got the news, my entire family was devastated as Archer has become a tentpole of happiness and respite in our home. Family and friends alike adore him for his gentle, loving, and adventurous energy. Many have told me they have never met a more magnetic pet with such personality. He is truly loved by all, not only people. My family recently welcomed a new puppy into their home, and Archer has been instrumental in mentoring, caring for, and of course entertaining the youngster. As a certified emotional support animal, it didn’t come as a surprise that Archer would be beloved by both his and our kind. Born in the pound and rescued by me, Archer has been a part of our family and enriching my life for one year and nine months. He adores hiking and is always a loyal companion up for any adventure, which is one of the many reasons why this injury is so devastating and requires immediate attention. Anything you can give would be immensely appreciated. If you know me, you know how much I love Archer. And if you know Archer, you know how much he loves you. Please help me get my best friend back on his feet!
