Hi Everyone, Our friend and colleague, Andy Barr, passed away on July 8th from an unexpected complication related to an ongoing health issue. He leaves behind his wife, Erin, and 11-year-old son, Lucas. Before he died, he was working to complete a critical home repair project that would have helped to ensure a safe and stable home for his family. Andy was a great friend to many, and he was always ready to help those around him. We have the opportunity to honor Andy’s memory by picking up where he left off and getting this essential repair done. The Barr’s home was built in 1950 and the garage basement was starting to lose the battle with water and moisture. The flooding has impacted the HVAC system and also caused issues with mold. A team has assessed the project and identified the following steps that need to be taken to complete the repair: • Manage rain/groundwater at the exterior • Manage water/moisture intrusions at the interior • Mitigate the impacts of moisture and mold with an emphasis on the HVAC system Andy always had a smile for every person he met. He brought joy to so many, and we hope to return the favor by providing some peace of mind for his wife and son. Thank you for any contribution you can make.
