Hello, my name is Megan Harris. Tiffanee' Hartke and myself are setthing this up to help cover costs for Amanda's services and to contribute toward anything her boys may need in the future. We lost a hell of a woman, entirely too soon. Amanda leaves behind two little boys who will miss her dearly. Please share with anyone who knew and loved Amanda. Amanda Lynn Pruemer, 34, of Effingham, IL, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2024 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL, after a brief illness. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2024 at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family for Amanda’s children, c/o Janelle McCulloch. Online condolences may be shared by clicking here. Amanda was born on July 26, 1988, in Denver, CO, the daughter of Dennis Pruemer and Janelle (Sechrest) McCulloch. Amanda worked in the service industry. She enjoyed doing crafts and puzzles but enjoyed time with her children the most. Amanda is survived by her mother, Janelle McCulloch; brother, Darren Pruemer; partner, Derrick McCoy; children, Thadeous and Dean McCoy; aunts and uncles, Jeanlyn (Steve) Stockman, Julie (Mark) Pike, and Richard Stockman; cousins, Bayleigh Stockman and Kelly Gaddis; nephew, Dominic Mooschekian; and nieces, Lorelai Wilson and Rosemary Pruemer. She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Pruemer; sister, Jennifer Pruemer; grandparents, Ross and Esther Sechrest, Jerry and Marilyn Pruemer, and Bob and Gladys Hodges; step-father, Erwin McCulloch; and uncle, Roger Sechrest.
