Hi! My name is Brooklyn and I am a 17 year old from a small town called Kingsville in Ontario. My whole life I have had a passion for ballet, and always dreamed of pursuing a career as a dancer. Living in a small town, it was challenging for me to dance someplace that would train me to achieve this level of professionalism. This summer I saved up enough money to go to Calgary and train with the Alberta Ballet School for three weeks. I got accepted to come back for my full grade 12 school year and was extremely excited to share this news with my parents. However, the financial obligation is more than what my parents can contribute, so I am hoping the kindness and generosity from others will help. I am trying to raise enough money to cover half of the program’s tuition, which is roughly $40,000. It would mean the world to me if I was able to attend this program, as this is a goal I have been working towards for as long as I can remember.
