Hello family, friends, Sorors, Frat, my Greek brothers and sisters, and new friends! My name is Marlesa Shields. I have always been the helper, but sometimes the helper needs assistance. This is where I could use your help. I am in my 3rd year of medical school at Windsor University School of Medicine. The only thing that is stopping me from becoming a great physician is money. I have exhausted all methods in an attempt to get money for school. I know that being empathetic to patients' health issues, listening to their concerns and needs, and letting them choose the best option for their situation is all apart of being a successful physician. To continue my medical journey and become the first physician in my family, I am asking for any donation God leads you to give. The money will be used for tuition, completing shelf exams, board exams, question banks, and study materials. If possible, I am asking for you to give as soon as possible as I have a deadline to meet. I plan on servicing underrepresented and underserved communities in the Chicagoland area after completing my medical education.
