Hi everyone, I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to you with a humble request for your support on my way towards the World Championships in Baku in August this year. As some of you know I will be competing at the World Championships in a number of events, some Olympic and some not. Unfortunately non-Olympic event are on a self-funded basis and I find myself in a difficult position, like many of you I'm sure, where I am unable to support my sport on my own. I have been trying to find support through external sponsors but unfortunately to no avail. This year already I have competed at European Cup and won a bronze and a silver medal. I am travelling to Denmark soon for another European Cup and hope to gain more medals and experience there. In Britain there is a distinct lack of training opportunity to train with this bigger calibre and so these European Cups are my only opportunity to practise before competing at the World Championships. The World Championships themselves bring together the best athletes from around the globe and this will be my first chance to compete at this prestigious event having failed twice now to actually start due to illness. This not only represents a personal achievement but also serves as a platform to promote our event and possibly open doors to secure funding for British 300m in the future. I hold an Equal World Record in one of my events and am very. much looking forward to the opportunity to compete on the biggest stage. The bank of mum and dad has been supporting me so far but with the cost of living rising that is becoming more and more difficult. The total cost of participation, including travel, accommodation, training expenses, and competition fees, amounts to approximately £5000 which is why I humbly seek your support. Your generous donations will play a crucial role in making my participation in the World Championships possible. The funds will be utilized for the following expenses: Travel and Accommodation: Covering the costs of flights, transportation, and accommodations for the duration of the event. Both the World Championships and for the European Cup in preparation thereof. Competition Fees: Paying the necessary registration fees and associated expenses to secure my participation in the World Championships.
