Bonjour, nous sommes une famille avec 4 enfants qui bâtissons notre fermette depuis bientôt 2 ans dans le but de devenir autosuffisant et de partager notre savoir . Nous avons passé toutes nos économies dans ce projet dans les 2 dernières années, mon conjoint et moi. Le matin du 26 février, au réveil, nous avons eu la mauvaise surprise. Cette Catastrophe que je ne souhaite à personne. Nous sommes passés au feu. Notre bâtiment principal, l'écurie, l'atelier mécanique et l'entrepôt de stockage au 2e étage (là où tous les articles agricoles, articles pour les animaux, soins aux animaux, vélos pour enfants, articles pour l'été, pour le camping, etc...Bref) tout ce qu'on sert pour l'hiver, tout ce qu'on utilise sur une ferme/fermette, tout ce qu'on range dans un cabanon/Hangard. À passer au feu. Nous avons tout perdu notre matériel extérieur et agricole, le contenu du garage, Les outils ainsi que tout le matériel pour les animaux, licol, laisse, médication, etc. Nous avons aussi perdu les cochons reproducteurs et la première portée de porcelets dans l'incendie. :'( Notre Famille : Nous sommes une famille recomposée de 4 enfants. Moi, je suis une vétérante des forces armées, je suis sortie des forces il y a 2 ans et demi pour cause de blessure médicale après 14 ans de services en tant que technicienne médicale. Mon conjoint travaille dans un garage automobile à Levis. Nos enfants ont 8-8-10-18 ans, ils vont tous à l'école. Nous les avons en garde partagée. Nos projets: Nous avons comme projet de nous établir, et ensuite d'ouvrir au public notre jolie fermette et de faire des activités pour partager notre savoir avec les petits et les grands. Faire des ateliers de jardinage et perliculture, comment prendre soin d'un cheval, comment s'occuper de poules pondeuses et leur besoin pour pondre, faire des séances de Zoo-accompagnement, etc... Nous voulions aussi offrir aux membres de la communauté la possibilité de se procurer des légumes frais de saison cultivés localement. Nous avons plein de projets en tête et en aurons toujours plus.
