Hello, My name is Denesha Sweat ,this is really got me down and extremely sad and hurt being vulnerable and very transparent is extremely hard for me I’m always trying to keep a smile on my face and others but I really need help with getting my house fixed properly and safely. I have been trying to get my house remodeled and repaired since May 2022. The contractor told me that he was interested in taking this project on, and he had every intention of getting the work completed and I would be back in my house by the end of June… However, the end of June turned into the end of July. As time progressed I noticed that the workers were complaining and quitting because they said he never paid them a dime for their services, and I have text messages to prove this as well. I then became concerned because I had given him over half the money already as stated on the contract “ $24,000 of the money upfront and the other $20,000 when the work is completed”. For a standard total of $44,000. Then he asked for additional money so I gave him $15,000 more. It then went from not showing up for work to when he wanted to. One of his workers stated he was on vacation for 2 weeks and he never even mentioned it to me. Every time I would try to contact him, he would avoid any contact, but after his vacation, he came back and asked for additional money on more than one occasion. I refused to provide him with any more funds. As of right now, I’m still not in my house, he completed the roof by overstacking and was supposed to provide a brand new roof, new windows, one room of carpet done, no kitchen sink, none of my doors shut and there are gaps and holes everywhere, just to name a few things. He has never provided me with an itemized statement of the product purchased or anything for that matter. The only thing I have gotten from him is the runaround, not coming to work on my house, and doesn’t have any helpers or workers because he didn’t pay them so they quit working on my house. This project was very important to me and my family as this property has been passed down through the generations. I gave my father Covid which at the time no one knew he had Cancer (Leukemia)as well and he passed away from Covid Complications on September 8,2021 which I have to live with this heart wrenching hurt everyday for the rest of my life, and he was trying to get the house remodeled by the organization (Purple Heart Homes), because he was a Disabled Vet however, he passed before they got to the project. I took the money my father left me and decided to have my father's dream completed. I trusted in the contractor and signed a contract and he violated it ,breached the whole contract .This has caused a huge inconvenience for me and everyone around me because I had been living with a family member for almost 10 months and a hotel for a while ,This is unacceptable and I ask that you help me with getting enough money to finish my house answers and figuring out how to get my house completely safe to live in , I need a lot new doors wood for porch trim gutters ,siding, new roof , bathroom, windows fixed, floors fixed which are not level etc. it’s a lot he messed and didn’t fix from the signed contract.Thank you in advance for your time and consideration. This is taking a toll on my life,it’s really hard.I pray I can get help for me to feel better and be able to live in a safer house. If you want to see pictures and stuff just email me at [email redacted] With (House) in subject line. Sincerely, Denesha Sweat Read more

Why GoFundMe Articles and URLs Appear on Our Website?

Why GoFundMe Articles and URLs Appear on Our Website and How We Support Other GoFundMe Campaigns

At LFEBridge Foundation, we are dedicated to creating a platform where individuals and organizations can maximize their fundraising efforts. As part of our commitment to supporting a wide range of causes, we incorporate articles and URLs from GoFundMe into our website. Here’s why you might see GoFundMe content on our site, how it benefits the fundraising community, and our relationship with GoFundMe:

1. Amplifying Reach for Fundraising Campaigns

  • Increased Visibility: By featuring GoFundMe articles and URLs on our platform, we help increase the visibility of various fundraising campaigns. This additional exposure can attract more donors and supporters, helping campaigns achieve their goals more quickly.

  • Cross-Promotional Opportunities: Highlighting campaigns from GoFundMe allows us to support a broader spectrum of causes and connect with a wider audience. This cross-promotion benefits both the campaign organizers and potential donors looking for causes to support.

2. Supporting Campaign Growth

  • Advertising and Promotion: We understand the importance of visibility in successful fundraising. By showcasing GoFundMe campaigns, we provide an advertising platform that helps these campaigns reach potential donors who might not have discovered them otherwise.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Collaborating with GoFundMe and featuring their campaigns on our site strengthens the fundraising ecosystem, ensuring that worthwhile causes receive the attention and support they deserve.

3. Expanding Donor Networks

  • Broader Donor Base: Featuring a variety of campaigns from different platforms helps diversify and expand the donor base. This means more people can learn about and contribute to a variety of causes, ultimately driving higher engagement and donations.

  • Enhanced Outreach: By integrating GoFundMe content, we help campaigns tap into new networks and communities, broadening their reach and potential impact.

How We Help Other GoFundMe Campaigns Grow

1. Featured Campaigns Section

  • Highlighting Noteworthy Campaigns: We have a dedicated section on our website where we feature noteworthy GoFundMe campaigns. This not only gives these campaigns a spotlight but also encourages visitors to explore and contribute to them.

  • Rotating Features: To ensure a diverse range of campaigns get visibility, we regularly rotate the featured campaigns. This continuous update keeps the content fresh and engaging for our audience.

2. Social Media Promotion

  • Sharing Across Platforms: We share selected GoFundMe campaigns on our social media channels to reach a broader audience. Our followers, in turn, can share these posts, amplifying the reach even further.

  • Engagement Strategies: Utilizing effective engagement strategies, such as storytelling and compelling visuals, we enhance the appeal of these campaigns, driving more traffic and donations.

3. Email Newsletters

  • Campaign Highlights: Our email newsletters often include highlights of impactful GoFundMe campaigns. By doing so, we bring these causes directly to the inboxes of our subscribers, encouraging more people to get involved and donate.

  • Donor Updates: We keep our donors informed about the progress and success of the campaigns they have supported, fostering a sense of community and continued engagement.

LFEBridge Foundation's Independence

It’s important to clarify that LFEBridge Foundation is an independent entity and is not part of or affiliated with GoFundMe. While we feature and support GoFundMe campaigns on our site, we operate as a separate foundation dedicated to collecting donations for various causes, similar to GoFundMe. Many of these causes are displayed on our website to provide donors with a wide range of options to support.

Conclusion

By featuring GoFundMe articles and URLs on our website, LFEBridge Foundation supports a wide array of fundraising campaigns, helping them gain the visibility and donations they need to succeed.
