Hello! My name is Eber Morales. I'm reaching out to anyone that would be willing to help our friend Manolo Ignacio Rojas Caicedo. On the night of May 5th of the present year, while returning from his mother's house after dropping off the medicines for her treatment, Manolo maneuvered to avoid running over a stray dog that ran into his path. While doing so, Manolo lost total control of his motorcycle which resulted in his accident. Manolo suffered several injuries all over his body, one of those injuries being a tibial plateau open fracture, which was treated in an emergency room of the Hospital Central Antonio Maria Pineda in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. Manolo needs a second medical procedure, after his fracture was treated the doctors realized that his tibial plateau has been displaced. This means his leg functionality is compromised. The doctors will need to use some of his hip's bone structure to then along with metal plates relocate his tibial plateau and finally let his knee recover properly. I have known Manolo for several years, he is a father of four and a husband that always has offered and proved his friendship even in the most difficult times, Manolo is a hardworking man that always has been the main support of his family. For those who don't know, Venezuela has been living a humanitarian crisis, where medical services have been deeply affected as many other aspects of daily life. Mientras lo hacía, Manolo perdió el control total de su motocicleta lo que provocó su accidente. Manolo sufrió varias lesiones en todo el cuerpo, una de esas lesiones fue una fractura abierta de meseta tibial, la cual fue atendida en una sala de emergencia del Hospital Central Antonio María Pineda en Barquisimeto, Venezuela. Manolo necesita un segundo procedimiento médico, luego de tratar su fractura, los médicos se dieron cuenta que su meseta tibial se habia desplazado. Esto significa que la funcionalidad de su pierna está comprometida. Los médicos necesitarán usar parte de la estructura ósea de su cadera para luego, junto con placas de metal, reubicar su meseta tibial y finalmente permitir que su rodilla se recupere adecuadamente. Conozco a Manolo desde hace varios años, es padre de cuatro hijos y es un esposo que siempre ha brindado y demostrado su amistad incluso en los momentos más difíciles, Manolo es un hombre trabajador que siempre ha sido el principal apoyo de su familia. Para quienes no lo saben, Venezuela ha estado viviendo una crisis humanitaria, donde los servicios médicos se han visto profundamente afectados como muchos otros aspectos de la vida diaria.
