Donate to Support Jooni's Fight Against Cancer, organized by Jooni Nevaeh

My name is Jooni Nevaeh. (I've created this page to help with the recent medical treatment and service costs. This disease requires ongoing medical treatment and travel.) On April 1st, 2023, I was diagnosed with a severe illness called Barrett's Esophagus, in the low-grade dysplasia stage. Barrett's esophagus is a condition in which the flat pink lining of the swallowing tube that connects the mouth to the stomach (esophagus) becomes damaged by acid reflux, which causes the lining to thicken and become red. [A little context] Unfortunately, this all started because of GERD. We have tried to manage this by using proton inhibitors and H2 receptor blockers. The doctors at the time said this would be enough, and I could manage my life a little better. Over time, I trusted the doctors, and life felt normal for a little until I started becoming more and more bloated. Not to mention my vision slowly fading in and out. Doctors/Nutritionists told me to cut more things out of my diet and that it should regulate itself. Sure enough, it did for a few months. Then, on November 20th, 2023, I was found passed out on the bathroom floor and rushed to Urgent Care. My results came back. Underweight and internal bleeding, it had worsened. "It's now in the high-grade dysplasia stage." (The Pre-Cancerous Stage), they said. I was given more medication to deal with the new developments. Surgery was now the only option to regain my life. I knew that was off the table because I was already spending what I could to improve my health. Not to mention being a broke college student who cares for his father. Plus, insurance hardly covered much. I had no choice but to work even harder at my sales job and manage through it. The doctors said to manage it more with pills, a better diet, and less stress. So, I developed a plan and a budget. Save up what I need by working hard to get the surgery. I prayed every day or had a mental prayer that each customer who came through that door was another blessing from God. So, I worked hard and got almost to the halfway mark. But when it rains, it pours, right? Not too long after, our business traffic just completely froze, and the rules for us salesmen changed for the worse. If I didn't make a goal, you're out. And just like that, I lost my job this year. I am surviving on what I have saved up. Naturally, I looked and looked for another job, but nothing. My mind caved in, and I just gave up. I lost my job, scholarship, and myself during this health disaster. But there's always this voice that tells me that I should keep going and keep pushing past my boundaries. So, I remember what my mother used to tell me when she was alive: the story of Job. It is a story of resilience, determination, humility, and dedication. So friends, family, and friendly strangers. I am not saying all of this for your pity but for context. If you can give what you can, I thank you from the bottom of my heart, Christian to Christian, friend to friend. And if you can't give anything at all. All I ask is for your prayers to guide and strengthen me. Help me reclaim my passions—school, creating music—and better myself as a human through life experience. Thank you (I will update the "goal" periodically if I require additional support due to new medical costs. May God reward you for your support. Please share this with friends and keep me in your prayers, and I'll do the same.) Read more

Why GoFundMe Articles and URLs Appear on Our Website?

Why GoFundMe Articles and URLs Appear on Our Website and How We Support Other GoFundMe Campaigns

At LFEBridge Foundation, we are dedicated to creating a platform where individuals and organizations can maximize their fundraising efforts. As part of our commitment to supporting a wide range of causes, we incorporate articles and URLs from GoFundMe into our website. Here’s why you might see GoFundMe content on our site, how it benefits the fundraising community, and our relationship with GoFundMe:

1. Amplifying Reach for Fundraising Campaigns

  • Increased Visibility: By featuring GoFundMe articles and URLs on our platform, we help increase the visibility of various fundraising campaigns. This additional exposure can attract more donors and supporters, helping campaigns achieve their goals more quickly.

  • Cross-Promotional Opportunities: Highlighting campaigns from GoFundMe allows us to support a broader spectrum of causes and connect with a wider audience. This cross-promotion benefits both the campaign organizers and potential donors looking for causes to support.

2. Supporting Campaign Growth

  • Advertising and Promotion: We understand the importance of visibility in successful fundraising. By showcasing GoFundMe campaigns, we provide an advertising platform that helps these campaigns reach potential donors who might not have discovered them otherwise.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Collaborating with GoFundMe and featuring their campaigns on our site strengthens the fundraising ecosystem, ensuring that worthwhile causes receive the attention and support they deserve.

3. Expanding Donor Networks

  • Broader Donor Base: Featuring a variety of campaigns from different platforms helps diversify and expand the donor base. This means more people can learn about and contribute to a variety of causes, ultimately driving higher engagement and donations.

  • Enhanced Outreach: By integrating GoFundMe content, we help campaigns tap into new networks and communities, broadening their reach and potential impact.

How We Help Other GoFundMe Campaigns Grow

1. Featured Campaigns Section

  • Highlighting Noteworthy Campaigns: We have a dedicated section on our website where we feature noteworthy GoFundMe campaigns. This not only gives these campaigns a spotlight but also encourages visitors to explore and contribute to them.

  • Rotating Features: To ensure a diverse range of campaigns get visibility, we regularly rotate the featured campaigns. This continuous update keeps the content fresh and engaging for our audience.

2. Social Media Promotion

  • Sharing Across Platforms: We share selected GoFundMe campaigns on our social media channels to reach a broader audience. Our followers, in turn, can share these posts, amplifying the reach even further.

  • Engagement Strategies: Utilizing effective engagement strategies, such as storytelling and compelling visuals, we enhance the appeal of these campaigns, driving more traffic and donations.

3. Email Newsletters

  • Campaign Highlights: Our email newsletters often include highlights of impactful GoFundMe campaigns. By doing so, we bring these causes directly to the inboxes of our subscribers, encouraging more people to get involved and donate.

  • Donor Updates: We keep our donors informed about the progress and success of the campaigns they have supported, fostering a sense of community and continued engagement.

LFEBridge Foundation's Independence

It’s important to clarify that LFEBridge Foundation is an independent entity and is not part of or affiliated with GoFundMe. While we feature and support GoFundMe campaigns on our site, we operate as a separate foundation dedicated to collecting donations for various causes, similar to GoFundMe. Many of these causes are displayed on our website to provide donors with a wide range of options to support.

Conclusion

By featuring GoFundMe articles and URLs on our website, LFEBridge Foundation supports a wide array of fundraising campaigns, helping them gain the visibility and donations they need to succeed.
