Hi, my name is Hayet. I’m starting this GoFundMe to support my dad’s medical and housing expenses. This week, my family and I were heartbroken to learn that my dad will need another heart surgery. As the main provider for our household, he won’t be able to work for some time. A little bit about my dad—he’s the most caring, kind, and hardworking person I know. He has always gone above and beyond to provide for our family. He’s my hero, my everything. After his first heart surgery in 2016, the doctors said he wouldn’t be able to work the way he used to. But my dad, being as stubborn as he is, refused to accept that, and he proved them wrong. They gave him ten years before another heart surgery would be necessary, but sadly, an unexpected infection brought that time forward. Now, he’s receiving treatment for the infection, and his second surgery is coming soon. But just like before, I know he will overcome this. I’m determined to do everything I can to make sure he doesn’t push himself too hard, so he can enjoy a longer, healthier life. Family always comes first, no matter what.
