Donate to Support Alex and Miyah's Journey to Stability, organized by Ruth Johnson

Hello, I am Ruthie and I want to introduce you to my son and granddaughter. You see, Alex and Miyah live in the Czech Republic. My son has lived there for thirty-four years. He has worked so hard over the years to make sure his wife and daughter and his stepdaughter, whom he had raised since she was eight years old, were taken care of. His wife got addicted to drugs. He spent his time working to support his family, giving his hard-earned money to his wife, who didn't pay the bills, and they were put out of the apartment. His wife ran up bills behind his back. One day he confronted her about their finances, and she got angry with him and left him with the two girls. He did all he could to support himself and the girls. It wasn't easy with the money he made working for hours and trying to get home after work to pick them up from their grandmother who lived nearby. My son got tired of it all and decided to get a divorce. Love makes you do many things until the heart stops caring because of the abuse from your spouse. He loved her so much and has always wanted to have a family. I taught him all about the Lord and what the Bible says is the part of a husband and wife in First Corinthians, verse one through six. All of this chapter is good for reading, and he tried to live as God wanted him to. So when she got pregnant by another man, my son filed for divorce and got custody of his daughter Miyah. Now he finds himself in debt, and he has to pay for nine years of debt his wife got him into because they were separated but married at the time. The law states that if one spouse gets into debt, the other spouse is responsible for that debt also. This is why I am asking for help. I've tried over the months to help him with food, money for tickets to get on the bus or train to work in Prague. Miyah had to go live with her grandmother, which is her mother's father's wife. Her grandfather passed away. There, Miyah can go to school and back to her grandma. I've paid the rent for him for the last three or four months. Because of things being as they are here in the US, I can't afford it anymore, and he needs help to keep a roof over his head and get Miyah back home with him. She talks to me and tells me she wants to go home to be with her dad. It breaks my heart to see her crying. She's thirteen years old now. Please help me help my son. God loves a cheerful giver, and I only ask for help because he is in a country like America at this time, making it hard for him to keep up with his bills while the bank takes all his job deposits in his account to pay the debt his wife made before the divorce was final. Any amount will be greatly appreciated. I love my son, and I need your help to get the funds to pay that debt, and then all the money he is working for will be deposited in his account, and the bank will not take it from him anymore, and Miyah can come home with her dad, and he'll be back on his feet needing no more support. God bless you all, and thank you for your donations for my son. All money raised will be going to him in the Czech Republic, nothing for me; he will be the beneficiary. Again, thank you, and God bless you all. Read more

Why GoFundMe Articles and URLs Appear on Our Website and How We Support Other GoFundMe Campaigns

At LFEBridge Foundation, we are dedicated to creating a platform where individuals and organizations can maximize their fundraising efforts. As part of our commitment to supporting a wide range of causes, we incorporate articles and URLs from GoFundMe into our website. Here’s why you might see GoFundMe content on our site, how it benefits the fundraising community, and our relationship with GoFundMe:

1. Amplifying Reach for Fundraising Campaigns

  • Increased Visibility: By featuring GoFundMe articles and URLs on our platform, we help increase the visibility of various fundraising campaigns. This additional exposure can attract more donors and supporters, helping campaigns achieve their goals more quickly.

  • Cross-Promotional Opportunities: Highlighting campaigns from GoFundMe allows us to support a broader spectrum of causes and connect with a wider audience. This cross-promotion benefits both the campaign organizers and potential donors looking for causes to support.

2. Supporting Campaign Growth

  • Advertising and Promotion: We understand the importance of visibility in successful fundraising. By showcasing GoFundMe campaigns, we provide an advertising platform that helps these campaigns reach potential donors who might not have discovered them otherwise.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Collaborating with GoFundMe and featuring their campaigns on our site strengthens the fundraising ecosystem, ensuring that worthwhile causes receive the attention and support they deserve.

3. Expanding Donor Networks

  • Broader Donor Base: Featuring a variety of campaigns from different platforms helps diversify and expand the donor base. This means more people can learn about and contribute to a variety of causes, ultimately driving higher engagement and donations.

  • Enhanced Outreach: By integrating GoFundMe content, we help campaigns tap into new networks and communities, broadening their reach and potential impact.

How We Help Other GoFundMe Campaigns Grow

1. Featured Campaigns Section

  • Highlighting Noteworthy Campaigns: We have a dedicated section on our website where we feature noteworthy GoFundMe campaigns. This not only gives these campaigns a spotlight but also encourages visitors to explore and contribute to them.

  • Rotating Features: To ensure a diverse range of campaigns get visibility, we regularly rotate the featured campaigns. This continuous update keeps the content fresh and engaging for our audience.

2. Social Media Promotion

  • Sharing Across Platforms: We share selected GoFundMe campaigns on our social media channels to reach a broader audience. Our followers, in turn, can share these posts, amplifying the reach even further.

  • Engagement Strategies: Utilizing effective engagement strategies, such as storytelling and compelling visuals, we enhance the appeal of these campaigns, driving more traffic and donations.

3. Email Newsletters

  • Campaign Highlights: Our email newsletters often include highlights of impactful GoFundMe campaigns. By doing so, we bring these causes directly to the inboxes of our subscribers, encouraging more people to get involved and donate.

  • Donor Updates: We keep our donors informed about the progress and success of the campaigns they have supported, fostering a sense of community and continued engagement.

LFEBridge Foundation's Independence

It’s important to clarify that LFEBridge Foundation is an independent entity and is not part of or affiliated with GoFundMe. While we feature and support GoFundMe campaigns on our site, we operate as a separate foundation dedicated to collecting donations for various causes, similar to GoFundMe. Many of these causes are displayed on our website to provide donors with a wide range of options to support.
