Just to wake up and breathe and have health to do what you want or love to do is what I perceive as quality of life. It’s the foundation of our lives. It’s what makes us happy to go to work and live our lives.
When you feel good and have health it’s Pura Vida!
I say there are worse things than death.
I imagine it will be quite enjoyable, to be honest.
The scariest thing is living a life without Quality!
For example you want to go to the beach just to “clear your head”.

What if the problem is INSIDE your head, physically?
Imagine that for a second.
Humans also deserve peace of mind.

That’s where James has been a brave warrior in facing this. An absolute beast in trying to make a life despite his hardships. I admire you so much James!
My Son James Luis Beshore Baltodano has a serious medical issue that needs to be taken care of asap. He just turned 25 and has not had Quality of Life due to what is called;
A Low Grade GLIOMA Stage 2.
Let me explain what a GLIOMA is so you can understand the seriousness of this. Though there is HUGE difference between a GLIOMA and a GLIOBLASTOMA, which I will explain.
A GLIOMA is a tumor inside your brain that has 4 levels of severity. The first two stages (Gliomas) are benign which can turn to a malignant stage ( Glioblastoma) and THAT is what we are trying to avoid.
Stage 1 is benign and once removed is easy to cure.
Stage 2 is different and the tumor is much more stubborn and very hard to kill or get rid of because it’s not just a tumor sitting there, it’s actually sitting in the brain and much more difficult to remove. Procedure for Stage two GLIOMA is to remove and then kill residual toxic cells through radiation and then Chemotherapy.
(James has Stage two but it is the lowest level of aggressiveness at this time)
Stage 3 is now called a GLIOBLASTOMA which is much more severe and once it goes from stage 2 to stage 3 it gets much more dangerous as now, in stage 3, it gets malignant and can move across the brain in months! Even so, A lot of humans survive stage 3!
Stage 4 GLIOBLASTOMA is obviously the most severe and is usually End Game but with modern medical
Science and amazing medical Neuroscience humans have and can defeat and heal from stage 4.
Thank God James has stage 2 LOW GRADE GLIOMA and positively the lowest in severity and he will pull through!
History of James’s condition:
This first time James suffered seizures was in February 2022 and he was diagnosed with a “Black Mass” on his Right Frontal Lobe the first tumor was removed in April 2022 at the Hospital CIMA by Dr. Xavier Gerardo Lang Serrano who is an angel and first removed the tumor and also helped us along this difficult road.
Diagnosis is only determined by removal in the first place. Then they take a sample and analyze it right away to tell you what it is. We truly did not understand that it would come back so quickly.
But now the tumor has grown back to over half the size in 2 years. It’s not what James is doing with his life (trying to enjoy life and overcome this) that makes it grow. It’s the stubborn little tumor coming back.
Also the process of receiving this information of a potentially fatal tumor has a process of emotion that you go through (literally scientifically proven). The process of you accepting it is extremely difficult and a lot of us stay in denial. I believe James and I have been in denial and not fully understanding what it is that he has as when you read about it is extremely difficult to comprehend and absorb. We tried to move on with our lives not realizing it would come back so fast.
We Now Understand Fully and how much we all need to change our lives!
The good thing is that James has the least aggressive tumor and a big chance of survival.
When this happens, as a Father/Mother, you want the best for your child. But, since James is an adult he needs to make his choices of which doctor and or Facility when it comes down to it.
We first planned on doing it through the CCSS but they did not diagnose him for GLIOMA so he was sent home. There were saying he was just having seizures and they did not admit him
Immediately to remove the tumor. This is very concerning for both Doctors ( Lang and Gutierrez), that James was not admitted immediately! Time is of the essence because it will continue to grow.
Sadly James suffered a cluster of four seizures that left him feeling worse than ever and he is having a hard and slow recovery and these seizures are deteriorating his brain. The Brain can heal magically and just will take a few weeks. He is getting better day by day.
This is not a movie where there is a specific role to play. The only role Magally and I can Play is just that, Mother and Father but like the best you have ever seen! There is only one Role my son can play on this is to BE THE HEALER in thought, word and action! Because everything that is happening, we share the same feelings. It’s OK to feel fear.
You know it says 365 times in the Bible “ Don’t Not Be Afraid”!
It’s OK to be sad or have complicated feelings in this because no one wrote a script for this and how to act!
This all being said James, Magally and I want the best for him.
As a parent you would definitely want your child to feel comfortable with the doctor as this is a challenging procedure, to say the least!
Yesterday James met Dr. David Gutierrez. James decided that he wants Dr. Gutierrez to perform the removal at Clinica Bíblica! A wonderful facility with a history of great treatments and surgeries with nurses and staff full of empathy and caring! That’s what James, Magally (James’s Mother) and I want for him.
If that’s what James wants, then that’s what we are going to do!
The surgery to remove the tumor plus following appointments, rental car ( I live 5 hours away from the hospital), Airbnbs, follow up MRIs , medication, food, clothing and just have a bit of quality of life while he recovers

This $30,000 is ONLY for the REMOVAL OF THE TUMOR but we cannot stop there as we know it will come back and quickly!

This Money is ONLY for the removal of the tumor.
After James recovers fully and we plan on doing treatments called STEM CELL THERAPY which has 100% success and literally is trying to either kill or diminish the tumor in size as is the overall objective of Radiation also. But the Stem Cell Therapy is much less invasive and not toxic for the human body. After radiation humans can survive and live a full life, in some cases, but the tumor could grow back in 30 years because radiation damages healthy cells which makes the tumor come back. According to Stem Cell Research there is a 100% success in clinical trials in the USA ( only on mice so far) and here in Costa Rica the Stem Cell Therapy has had an amazing success rate, on humans, and these doctors have saved people from tumors way more severe than what James has.
The Stem Cell Therapy will be done later as we are now just doing the tumor removal.
Honestly, this is with a heavy heart I ask for help in such a difficult time.
Though we are very positive and I am so proud of my Son for being the Most Courageous Young Man I have ever known. James is such a beautiful human being and though none of us are perfect and we do silly things sometimes not understanding fully the situation. Well, now we know and though the lessons have been hard James Will Pull Through by the Grace of the Most High and his Lord and our savior Jesus Christ! AMEN!!!
You should see my son. He is such a force of artistic talents that come out of him so magically. His surfing, skating, painting and music. He started to play piano just by ear and we play music together and it’s so beautiful!
He has many friends and acquaintances that adore or respect him but with James’s witty and funny jokes it’s hard NOT to want to be with him hahaha!
I could sit all day and watch my son surf or skate with puppy eyes! I can’t believe how good he is at everything! He was surfing better than me at 12 years old Hahahaha!
Watching him carve or how he intuitively rides the barrel is like food to my soul!
Everything James does is a force and comes so naturally with so much raw talent that his Mother and I could not have asked for a better son!
I Love my Son more than anything and though he may think that this is hurting everyone around him, actually quite the contrary, his Mother and I have NEVER been so close and working together for our only son! There are so many people out there helping James on so many levels! Including all the wonderful Humans that helped us on the first round!
The MOST IMPORTANT IS
The Most High is with us and , again,
By the grace of Holy Father And Holy Son we shall be a light in the valley of darkness!

Simplemente despertarse, respirar y tener salud para hacer lo que quieres o amas hacer es lo que percibo como calidad de vida. Es la base de nuestras vidas. Es lo que nos hace felices de ir a trabajar y vivir nuestras vidas.

Me imagino que será bastante divertido, para ser honesto.
¡Lo más aterrador es vivir una vida sin Calidad!
Por ejemplo, quieres ir a la playa sólo para “despejar la cabeza”.

¿Qué pasa si el problema está DENTRO de tu cabeza, físicamente?
Imagínese eso por un segundo.
Los seres humanos también merecen tranquilidad.

Ahí es donde James ha sido un guerrero valiente al enfrentar esto. Una absoluta bestia al intentar hacer una vida a pesar de sus dificultades. ¡Te admiro mucho James!
Mi hijo James Luis Beshore Baltodano tiene un problema médico grave que debe ser atendido lo antes posible. Acaba de cumplir 25 años y no ha tenido Calidad de Vida por lo que se llama;
Un GLIOMA de bajo grado en etapa 2.
Déjame explicarte qué es un GLIOMA para que puedas entender la gravedad de esto. Aunque existe una GRAN diferencia entre un GLIOMA y un GLIOBLASTOMA, que explicaré.
Un GLIOMA es un tumor dentro del cerebro que tiene 4 niveles de gravedad. Las dos primeras etapas (gliomas) son benignas y pueden convertirse en una etapa maligna (glioblastoma) y ESO es lo que estamos tratando de evitar.
La etapa 1 es benigna y una vez eliminada es fácil de curar.
La etapa 2 es diferente y el tumor es mucho más rebelde y muy difícil de matar o eliminar porque no es solo un tumor ahí, sino que en realidad está en el cerebro y es mucho más difícil de extirpar. El procedimiento para el GLIOMA en etapa dos es eliminar y luego matar las células tóxicas residuales mediante radiación y luego quimioterapia.
(James tiene la Etapa dos pero es el nivel más bajo de agresividad en este momento)
La etapa 3 ahora se llama GLIOBLASTOMA, que es mucho más grave y una vez que pasa de la etapa 2 a la 3 se vuelve mucho más peligrosa, ya que ahora, en la etapa 3, se vuelve maligno y puede moverse por el cerebro en meses. Aun así, ¡muchos humanos sobreviven a la etapa 3!
El GLIOBLASTOMA en etapa 4 es obviamente el más grave y generalmente es el final del juego, pero con la atención médica moderna.
Ciencia y sorprendente Neurociencia médica que los humanos tenemos y podemos vencer y sanar desde la etapa 4.
¡Gracias a Dios, James tiene GLIOMA DE BAJO GRADO en etapa 2 y positivamente el más bajo en gravedad y saldrá adelante!
Historia de la condición de James:
Esta primera vez que James sufrió convulsiones fue en febrero de 2022 y le diagnosticaron una “Masa Negra” en su Lóbulo Frontal Derecho. El primer tumor fue extirpado en abril de 2022 en el Hospital CIMA por el Dr. Xavier Gerardo Lang Serrano quien es un ángel y el primero. extirpó el tumor y también nos ayudó en este difícil camino.
El diagnóstico sólo se determina mediante la eliminación en primer lugar. Luego toman una muestra y la analizan de inmediato para decirte qué es. Realmente no entendíamos que volvería tan rápido.
Pero ahora el tumor ha vuelto a crecer a más de la mitad de su tamaño en 2 años. No es lo que James está haciendo con su vida (tratar de disfrutarla y superar esto) lo que la hace crecer. Es el pequeño tumor rebelde que está regresando.
entonces el proceso de recibir esta información de un tumor potencialmente fatal tiene un proceso de emoción por el que se pasa (literalmente probado científicamente). El proceso de aceptación es extremadamente difícil y muchos de nosotros seguimos negándolo. Creo que James y yo lo hemos negado y no hemos comprendido completamente qué es lo que él tiene, ya que cuando lees sobre ello es extremadamente difícil de comprender y absorber. Intentamos seguir adelante con nuestras vidas sin darnos cuenta de que volveríamos tan rápido.
¡Ahora entendemos plenamente cuánto necesitamos cambiar nuestras vidas!
Lo bueno es que James tiene el tumor menos agresivo y tiene grandes posibilidades de sobrevivir.
Cuando esto sucede, como padre/madre, deseas lo mejor para tu hijo. Pero, dado que James es un adulto, debe elegir qué médico o instalación cuando llegue el momento.
Primero pensamos hacerlo a través de la CCSS pero no le diagnosticaron GLIOMA por lo que lo enviaron a casa. Decían que solo estaba teniendo convulsiones y no lo admitieron.
Inmediatamente para extirpar el tumor. Esto es muy preocupante para ambos doctores (Lang y Gutiérrez), ¡que James no fue admitido de inmediato! El tiempo es esencial porque seguirá creciendo.
Lamentablemente, James sufrió una serie de cuatro convulsiones que lo dejaron sintiéndose peor que nunca y está teniendo una recuperación lenta y difícil y estas convulsiones están deteriorando su cerebro. El Cerebro puede sanar mágicamente y sólo tomará unas pocas semanas. Está mejorando día a día.
Esta no es una película en la que haya que desempeñar un papel específico. El único papel que Magally y yo podemos desempeñar es precisamente ese, Madre y Padre, ¡pero como el mejor que jamás hayas visto! ¡Solo hay un papel que mi hijo puede desempeñar en esto es SER EL SANADOR en pensamiento, palabra y acción! Porque en todo lo que está pasando, compartimos los mismos sentimientos. Está bien sentir miedo.
¡Sabes que dice 365 veces en la Biblia “No tengas miedo”!
¡Está bien estar triste o tener sentimientos complicados por esto porque nadie escribió un guión para esto y cómo actuar!
Dicho todo esto, James, Magally y yo queremos lo mejor para él.
Como padre, definitivamente querrá que su hijo se sienta cómodo con el médico, ya que se trata de un procedimiento desafiante, por decir lo menos.
Ayer James conoció al Dr. David Gutiérrez. ¡James decidió que quiere que el Dr. Gutiérrez realice la extirpación en la Clínica Bíblica! ¡Una instalación maravillosa con una historia de excelentes tratamientos y cirugías con enfermeras y personal llenos de empatía y cariño! Eso es lo que James, Magally (la madre de James) y yo queremos para él.
Si eso es lo que James quiere, ¡eso es lo que vamos a hacer!
La cirugía para extirpar el tumor más las siguientes citas, alquiler de auto (vivo a 5 horas del hospital), Airbnbs, resonancias magnéticas de seguimiento, medicamentos, comida, ropa y solo tener un poco de calidad de vida mientras se recupera.

Después de que James se recupere por completo, planeamos realizar tratamientos llamados TERAPIA CON CÉLULAS MADRE, que tiene un 100% de éxito y, literalmente, intenta matar o disminuir el tamaño del tumor, como también es el objetivo general de la radiación. Pero la Terapia con Células Madre es mucho menos invasiva y no tóxica para el cuerpo humano. Después de la radiación, los humanos pueden sobrevivir y vivir una vida plena, en algunos casos, pero el tumor podría volver a crecer en 30 años porque la radiación daña las células sanas, lo que hace que el tumor regrese. Según Stem Cell Research, hay un 100% de éxito en los ensayos clínicos en los EE. UU. Deberías ver a mi hijo. Es una fuerza de talentos artísticos que surgen de él de manera tan mágica. Su surf, patinaje, pintura y música. Empezó a tocar el piano sólo de oído y tocamos música juntos y ¡es tan hermoso!
Tiene muchos amigos y conocidos que lo adoran o respetan pero con los chistes ingeniosos y divertidos de James es difícil NO querer estar con él ¡jajaja!
¡Podría sentarme todo el día y ver a mi hijo surfear o patinar con ojos de cachorro! ¡No puedo creer lo bueno que es en todo! Él surfeaba mejor que yo a los 12 años ¡Jajajaja!
¡Verlo tallar o cómo monta intuitivamente el barril es como alimento para mi alma!
¡Todo lo que James hace es una fuerza y surge de manera tan natural con tanto talento en bruto que su madre y yo no podríamos haber pedido un mejor hijo!
Amo a mi Hijo más que a nada y aunque él pueda pensar que esto está lastimando a todos los que lo rodean, en realidad es todo lo contrario, ¡su Madre y yo NUNCA hemos sido tan cercanas y hemos trabajado juntas por nuestro único hijo! ¡Hay tanta gente ayudando a James en tantos niveles! ¡Incluidos todos los maravillosos humanos que nos ayudaron en la primera ronda!
