Donate to Quinnley's Heart: A Family's Struggle, organized by Catherine Leifheit

Hello everyone! This sweet girl's name is Quinnley, who has been battling a very critical heart condition her whole 3 years of life. She was born with it, and as she gets older, it has gotten worse for her. The family has had countless days and nights, even weeks and months, spent in different hospitals. They have been to 4 different children’s hospitals over the years. She was supposed to receive 3 open-heart surgeries to fix her heart, but in June of 2024, all of those options went away when she got plastic bronchitis. This then meant that a heart transplant was the only option for her quality of life. She has hit a lot of obstacles, to say the least. Currently, she has been moved to the ICU at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, where she has been admitted since December 17th for a massive fluid overload—like 4 liters of it, to be exact. She has been in the ICU for 8 days of the stay, where she will remain for quite some time, which is unknown at this time. Mom and Dad were told last week some really, really heart-wrenching news that this sweet girl's heart has gotten tremendously worse in just a month's time, and the function of her heart went from being moderately diminished to severely diminished. Because of this, as of right now, she cannot accept a new heart, as if she did, she would not survive the surgery. She is very sick, and the doctors are doing everything they can to get her back to the path of being a reasonable candidate for a new heart, as that is her only option. It was gut-wrenching news for the family to hear that they either take her home and let her be herself for however long, or they let the doctors do everything they can to help get her back on the right track. It’s been a roller coaster, and it’s only gonna get worse before it gets better, unfortunately. She has had to get a feeding tube, which is not something she’s ever had before, to receive some protein and nutrients to help her little body get stronger! They are going to do more testing to get more numbers from the heart to see if the support they have given to the heart has helped. Once those tests are done and the results are in, the family will know what the next steps and options are for their sweet girl. As you can imagine, this is taking a huge toll on the rest of the family as well. Everyone misses Quinn. Mom stays in Columbus at the hospital, and Dad is at home caring for their other two babies and trying to show up for work every day. We are asking for donations to help the family be a little less stressed during this time to pay for expenses, bills, food, etc. Money is really tight for everyone, and we understand that fully, but if you could please just SHARE this story, we would be so grateful. We will post updates on here as well for everyone to be able to know how things are going! This family needs all the prayers and support they can get during this difficult time and are so thankful for each and every one of you who took the time to even read their story! God bless you. Why GoFundMe Articles and URLs Appear on Our Website and How We Support Other GoFundMe Campaigns

At LFEBridge Foundation, we are dedicated to creating a platform where individuals and organizations can maximize their fundraising efforts. As part of our commitment to supporting a wide range of causes, we incorporate articles and URLs from GoFundMe into our website. Here’s why you might see GoFundMe content on our site, how it benefits the fundraising community, and our relationship with GoFundMe:

1. Amplifying Reach for Fundraising Campaigns

  • Increased Visibility: By featuring GoFundMe articles and URLs on our platform, we help increase the visibility of various fundraising campaigns. This additional exposure can attract more donors and supporters, helping campaigns achieve their goals more quickly.

  • Cross-Promotional Opportunities: Highlighting campaigns from GoFundMe allows us to support a broader spectrum of causes and connect with a wider audience. This cross-promotion benefits both the campaign organizers and potential donors looking for causes to support.

2. Supporting Campaign Growth

  • Advertising and Promotion: We understand the importance of visibility in successful fundraising. By showcasing GoFundMe campaigns, we provide an advertising platform that helps these campaigns reach potential donors who might not have discovered them otherwise.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Collaborating with GoFundMe and featuring their campaigns on our site strengthens the fundraising ecosystem, ensuring that worthwhile causes receive the attention and support they deserve.

3. Expanding Donor Networks

  • Broader Donor Base: Featuring a variety of campaigns from different platforms helps diversify and expand the donor base. This means more people can learn about and contribute to a variety of causes, ultimately driving higher engagement and donations.

  • Enhanced Outreach: By integrating GoFundMe content, we help campaigns tap into new networks and communities, broadening their reach and potential impact.

How We Help Other GoFundMe Campaigns Grow

1. Featured Campaigns Section

  • Highlighting Noteworthy Campaigns: We have a dedicated section on our website where we feature noteworthy GoFundMe campaigns. This not only gives these campaigns a spotlight but also encourages visitors to explore and contribute to them.

  • Rotating Features: To ensure a diverse range of campaigns get visibility, we regularly rotate the featured campaigns. This continuous update keeps the content fresh and engaging for our audience.

2. Social Media Promotion

  • Sharing Across Platforms: We share selected GoFundMe campaigns on our social media channels to reach a broader audience. Our followers, in turn, can share these posts, amplifying the reach even further.

  • Engagement Strategies: Utilizing effective engagement strategies, such as storytelling and compelling visuals, we enhance the appeal of these campaigns, driving more traffic and donations.

3. Email Newsletters

  • Campaign Highlights: Our email newsletters often include highlights of impactful GoFundMe campaigns. By doing so, we bring these causes directly to the inboxes of our subscribers, encouraging more people to get involved and donate.

  • Donor Updates: We keep our donors informed about the progress and success of the campaigns they have supported, fostering a sense of community and continued engagement.

LFEBridge Foundation's Independence

It’s important to clarify that LFEBridge Foundation is an independent entity and is not part of or affiliated with GoFundMe. While we feature and support GoFundMe campaigns on our site, we operate as a separate foundation dedicated to collecting donations for various causes, similar to GoFundMe. Many of these causes are displayed on our website to provide donors with a wide range of options to support.

Conclusion

By featuring GoFundMe articles and URLs on our website, LFEBridge Foundation supports a wide array of fundraising campaigns, helping them gain the visibility and donations they need to succeed.
