Hallo, mein Name ist Christine Kordik
Ich habe ein Foto von mir hochgeladen, da ich diese Spendenaktion für meinen Sohn und seine kleine Familie auf eigene Faust starte.
Durch die schwere Krankheit meines bald 1jährigen Enkelsohnes hat sich alles verändert.
Dies ist die Geschichte der kleinen Familie:
Mein Sohn und seine Frau haben im Oktober 2021 geheiratet. Beide haben sich immer ein Eigenheim gewünscht, in dem sie mit ihrer zukünftigen Familie leben können.
Nach genauer finanzieller Planung wurde im August 2022 mit dem Hausbau begonnen. Da beide berufstätig waren, waren sie voller Zuversicht, dass sie diese große Herausforderung schaffen. Mein Sohn hat als Handwerker von Anfang an viel Eigenleistung erbracht. Ebenso hat meine Schwiegertochter fleißig zugelangt.
Beide haben sich immer Kinder gewünscht und so war die Freude groß, als sich im November 2022 mein Enkelsohn ankündigte. Dennoch war es eine unerwartet frühe Überraschung.
Noch während der Hausbauphase startete im Februar 2023 die lang ersehnte Ausbildung meine Sohnes zum Meister im Fach Landmaschinenmechatroniker. Zu dieser Zeit war schon klar, dass der Geburtstermin meines Enkelsohnes in die Zeit der Meisterprüfungen fallen wird.
Durch die herausfordernde Ausbildung zum Meister und die überraschende Schwangerschaft meiner Schwiegertochter lief der Hausbau nur noch zögerlich.
Im Juni 2023 wurde mein Enkelsohn 4 Wochen vor dem errechneten Termin per Kaiserschnitt geboren.
Gleich nach der Geburt wurde festgestellt, dass er an zystischer Nierendysplasie leidet. Dies bedeutet, dass die Nieren entweder viel zu wenig oder eben überhaupt nicht arbeiten.
So wurde mein Enkelsohn mit seiner Mutter 2 Tage nach der Geburt in eine spezielle Kinderklinik, die 150 Kilometer entfernt ist, geflogen.
Nach einigen lebensnotwendigen Operationen wurde mit dem Dialyseprogramm für meinen Enkelsohn begonnen.
Das heißt, er ist täglich ca 11 Stunden am Dialysegerät angeschlossen, damit sein kleiner Körper entwässert und entgiftet wird.
Insgesamt waren mein Enkelsohn und seine Mama fast 8 Wochen in der weit entfernten Klinik, davon längere Zeiten auf der Intensivstation.
Mein Sohn, der noch mitten in den Prüfungen war, nahm täglich den Weg zur Klinik auf sich, um so viel wie möglich bei seiner Familie zu sein. Trotz dieser enormen psychischen und physischen Herausforderung für die jungen Eltern, haben sie in den nächtlichen Stunden im Krankenhaus zusammen gelernt, um die Meisterausbildung zu einem guten Abschluss zu bringen.
Ich weiß, für Euch ist das vielleicht nicht wichtig - aber ich als Mutter bin unglaublich stolz, dass mein Sohn diese Prüfung bestanden hat.
Nachdem die junge Familie im August 23 endlich nach Hause durfte, war auch hier die Freude groß. Denn trotz der großen Strapazen war mein Enkelsohn relativ stabil und hat sich gut entwickelt.
Allerdings war an die Fertigstellung des Hauses erst einmal nicht mehr zu denken.
Die jungen Eltern mussten sich in der ersten Zeit zu Hause mit der Technik der Dialyse, der komplizierten Medikamentengabe und der stetigen Sorge um ihr Kind zurechtfinden. Wöchentliche Fahrten in die Klinik, Anträge und Abrechnungen ausfüllen und andere Arztbesuche waren zu stemmen.
Langsam stieg dadurch der Zeitdruck, das Haus fertigzustellen. Denn es gab und gibt für den eingeplanten Kredit einen genau vorgeschriebenen Zeitrahmen.
Ab Oktober begann plötzlich wieder eine Zeit der großen Sorgen um meinen Enkelsohn.
Nachdem seine Nieren sich ein klein wenig erholt hatten, wurde festgestellt, dass auch seine Blase und Harnröhre nicht naturgemäß arbeiten. So folgten wieder viele Untersuchungen in verschiedenen Kliniken und mein Enkelsohn hatte innerhalb von 2 Monaten wieder 4 Operationen. Bei jedem Klinikaufenthalt waren beide Elternteile anwesend, da die Dialyse nicht in jeder Klinik automatisch möglich war und ebenso das Personal nicht dafür geschult war. Noch dazu haben nach der letzten Operation beide Nieren nun ganz ihren "Dienst quitiert", daraus ergeben sich wieder neue Probleme.
Nachdem die junge Familie auch das alles gemeistert hat war es inzwischen Dezember.
Der Hausbau wurde wieder aufgenommen, immer unter zeitlichem Druck, körperlicher und nervlicher Überlastung.
Durch die Krankheit ihres Sohnes, war sehr schnell klar, dass meine Schwiegertochter nicht wie geplant nach einem Jahr wieder stundenweise arbeiten wird. Ebenso hat mein Sohn durch ihre schwierige Situation Fehlzeiten an seiner Arbeitsstelle.
Nach wie vor erbringt mein Sohn unglaublich viel Eigenleistung bei dem Bau des Hauses - zeitlich reicht es nicht und die finanziellen Mittel schwinden aufgrund der hohen Kosten für die medizinische Versorgung meines Enkelsohnes.
Zum Schluss möchte ich Euch aber auch unbedingt mitteilen, dass durch tiefe Liebe der jungen Eltern zu ihrem Sohn und ihre wahrlich aufopfernde Hingabe, sich mein Enkelsohn, unter den gegebenen Umständen, gut entwickelt. Er ist ein unglaublicher Sonnenschein und lustiger Kerl.

Young family in need due to severe illness: Hello, my name is Christine Kordik.
I have uploaded a photo of myself because I am starting this fundraising campaign for my son and his small family on my own initiative.
Everything changed due to the severe illness of my soon-to-be 1-year-old grandson.
This is the story of the little family:
My son and his wife got married in October 2021. Both always dreamed of having their own home where they could live with their future family.
After careful financial planning, construction of the house began in August 2022. Both were working full-time and were confident that they could handle this big challenge. My son, as a craftsman, contributed a lot of manual work from the start. My daughter-in-law also pitched in diligently.
Both had always wanted children, so they were overjoyed when my grandson was announced in November 2022. However, it was an unexpectedly early surprise.
During the construction phase of the house, my son began his long-awaited training to become a master in agricultural machinery mechanics in February 2023. At that time, it was already clear that the due date would coincide with the time of the master exams.
Due to the challenging master's training and my daughter-in-law's unexpected pregnancy, the construction of the house slowed down considerably.
In June 2023, my grandson was born via c-section, 4 weeks before the estimated due date.
Immediately after birth, it was discovered that he suffers from cystic kidney dysplasia. This means that his kidneys either work very poorly or not at all.
So, my grandson and his mother were flown to a special children's clinic 150 kilometers away just 2 days after birth.
After some life-saving surgeries, my grandson's dialysis program began.
This means that he is connected to a dialysis machine for about 11 hours every day to drain and detoxify his small body.
In total, my grandson and his mother spent almost 8 weeks in the distant clinic, with longer periods in the intensive care unit.
My son, who was still in the midst of his exams, made the daily trip to the clinic to be with his family as much as possible. Despite these enormous mental and physical challenges for the young parents, they studied together during the night hours in the hospital to successfully complete the master's training.
I know this may not be important to you - but as a mother, I am incredibly proud that my son passed this exam.
After the young family was finally allowed to go home in August 2023, there was great joy. Despite the hardships, my grandson was relatively stable and developed well.
However, completing the house was out of the question for the time being.
In the beginning, the young parents had to familiarize themselves with the dialysis technology, complicated medication administration, and constant worry about their child at home. Weekly trips to the clinic, filling out applications and invoices, and other doctor visits had to be managed.
Slowly, the pressure to finish the house increased. Because there was and is a precisely prescribed timeframe for the planned loan.
In October, a time of great concern about my grandson suddenly returned.
After his kidneys had recovered slightly, it was found that his bladder and urethra were also not functioning naturally. So, many examinations followed in various clinics, and my grandson underwent 4 surgeries within 2 months. Both parents were present for each hospital stay, as dialysis was not available automatically in every clinic, and the staff were not trained for it.
Moreover, after the last operation, both kidneys have now completely "quit their service," which poses new problems.
After the young family mastered all of this, it was already December.
Construction of the house resumed, always under time pressure, physical, and mental strain.
Due to their son's illness, it quickly became clear that my daughter-in-law would not return to work as planned after a year, working only part-time. Likewise, my son had absences from his workplace due to her difficult situation.
My son continues to contribute an incredible amount of manual labor to the construction of the house - time is running short, and the financial resources are dwindling due to the high costs of my grandson's medical care.
Finally, I want to tell you that, thanks to the deep love of the young parents for their son and their truly sacrificial dedication, my grandson is developing well under the circumstances. He is an incredible ray of sunshine and a funny little guy.
