Hello, My name is Panajot , I'm raising funds for my cousin's son Troi. PS: Informacionin Shqip e gjeni ne fund te sesionit anglisht. Troi is born on 18 November 2021. When he was born he was left for around 5 seconds without oxygen and this caused a lot damages to his brain. This has caused a lot of development problems ( he cant walk, stand or talk ) Neuropediatrics in Tirana diagnosed that Troi is suffering from West syndrome. A head MRI further revealed underdevelopment of the hindbrain and the forebrain! Albanian doctor's suggestion were to continue with further examinations and findings outside of Albania, so Troi's family assessed Turkey being a suitable alternative. After careful considerations, Troi's family found a private hospital in Turkey ( Liv Hospital in Istambul ) , which was among the only ones that, in addition to examinations, also offered stem cell treatment as the only option for recovery of brain injuries. Currently, the treatment he is receiving is only symptomatic, treating the epilepsy. On the consultation with the geneticist doctor, we were told that there is a good chance Troi can recover through stem cell treatment, given his young age, but the treatment should start as soon as possible, before reaching the 3 years old. If left untreated, Troi risks paralysis, blindness, severed mental development, deaf-mutism, limb deformities reducing his quality of life considerably. The stem cell treatment takes place in 3 sessions, where one session consists of two injections with stem cells that are carried out over a period of at least 2 weeks. Troi needs to be hospitalised to receive the treatment alongside other procedures ( ozone injection, physiotherapy, tests, progress tracking, etc.). The cost for the total treatment for Troi is estimated to be £57,000. Mariglen the father of Troi is unable to afford this amount, that is why we humbly ask for your support, as little contribution as less as possible. Kur lindi mbeti rreth 5 sekonda pa oksigjen dhe kjo i shkaktoi shumë dëmtime në tru. Kjo ka shkaktuar shumë probleme zhvillimi (ai nuk mund të ecë, të qëndrojë apo të flasë) Neuropediatria në Tiranë diagnostikoi se Troi vuan nga sindroma West. Një MRI e kokës zbuloi më tej moszhvillimin e trurit të pasmë dhe të trurit të përparmë! Sugjerimi i mjekut shqiptar ishte që të vazhdonin ekzaminimet dhe gjetjet e mëtejshme jashtë Shqipërisë, ndaj familja e Troit e vlerësoi Turqinë si një alternativë të përshtatshme. Pas shqyrtimeve të kujdesshme, familja e Troit gjeti një spital privat në Turqi (Liv Hospital në Stamboll), i cili ishte ndër të vetmit që përveç ekzaminimeve ofronte edhe trajtimin me qeliza staminale si opsionin e vetëm për shërimin e dëmtimeve të trurit. Aktualisht trajtimi që po merr është vetëm simptomatik, duke trajtuar epilepsinë. Në konsultën me mjekun gjenetist, na u tha se ka shumë mundësi që Troi të shërohet nëpërmjet trajtimit me qeliza staminale, duke pasur parasysh moshën e tij të re, por trajtimi duhet të fillojë sa më shpejt që të jetë e mundur, para se të mbushë moshën 3 vjeç. Nëse nuk trajtohet, Troi rrezikon paralizën, verbërinë, zhvillimin mendor të ndërprerë, shurdh-mutizmin, deformimet e gjymtyrëve që ia ulin ndjeshëm cilësinë e jetës. Trajtimi me qeliza staminale bëhet në 3 seanca, ku një seancë përbëhet nga dy injeksione me qeliza staminale që kryhen në një periudhë prej të paktën 2 javësh. Troi duhet të shtrohet në spital për të marrë trajtimin krahas procedurave të tjera (injektimi i ozonit, fizioterapia, testet, gjurmimi i progresit, etj.). Kostoja për trajtimin total për Troi është vlerësuar të jetë 57,000 £. Familja e Troit nuk ka mundësi ta përballojë këtë shumë, prandaj kërkojmë me përulësi mbështetjen tuaj, sa më pak kontribut.
