Donate to Help to send Lyndell overseas for further Cancer treatment, organized by Lyndell Clarke

Dear family, friends, friends of friends and kind strangers My cancer journey continue’s with new cancer now spread to my lymph nodes which are not operable and now at a point where chemotherapy may or may not work. I am now looking at heading overseas to Mexico to receive treatment at Hope4cancer. This treatment is very expensive and will need to return a few times over the next year. Funds received will help get me there. My Story "My Tuesday, 25 July 2023 started like any other. I got myself and my kids ready for the day, did the school drop off and then went to the gym. Mid-workout out I started experiencing pain which became extreme pain and saw me sent to the Emergency Department. It was this Tuesday, 25 July that my life changed forever and I was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer. I wasn’t given any indication of the severity of the diagnosis at this stage, but it completely blindsided me. There is no family history of this cancer, my body showed none of the ‘typical’ symptoms and the symptoms that was presented was put down to my previously diagnosed Endometriosis. Along with my endo, I also had what I was told was a cyst on my ovary which apparently shouldn’t be a cause for concern. Further testing confirmed that my tumour was Stage 4 and my ovarian cyst was not a cyst, but was in fact my cancer that had spread. I can’t explain the numbness that I felt when I was told that my cancer is Stage 4, but the category is not getting in the way of my determination to beat this. Since being diagnosed I have now undergone three different surgeries to remove the tumours and the spread to my ovaries, liver, peritoneum and lymph nodes. Having had part of my bowel, full hysterectomy, appendix, spleen, peritoneum removed and an ileostomy introduced then removed and now have a colostomy bag. With having been told that the surgeries were successful by my medical team. I have since received chemotherapy 16 times and I am now at a point where chemotherapy will not help anymore as I cannot receive chemo for the rest of my life. Mentally, I am taking my diagnosis one day at a time and that is keeping me focussed. With the love and support from my husband, my kids and my immediate and extended family and friends I have the drive and determination to not let this get the better of me." Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in easing the financial stress and helping me through this battle. I wanted to say a big THANKYOU to those who have helped me to this point in my journey. Your kindness and generosity helps to keep me going, even on days when I am low. You’ve brought me healthcare, wins and improvements helping to be my best self, reducing the stress and allowing me to push on. Thankyou for sticking with me. I am so grateful to have you on the journey ❤️ Read more

Why GoFundMe Articles and URLs Appear on Our Website and How We Support Other GoFundMe Campaigns

At LFEBridge Foundation, we are dedicated to creating a platform where individuals and organizations can maximize their fundraising efforts. As part of our commitment to supporting a wide range of causes, we incorporate articles and URLs from GoFundMe into our website. Here’s why you might see GoFundMe content on our site, how it benefits the fundraising community, and our relationship with GoFundMe:

1. Amplifying Reach for Fundraising Campaigns

  • Increased Visibility: By featuring GoFundMe articles and URLs on our platform, we help increase the visibility of various fundraising campaigns. This additional exposure can attract more donors and supporters, helping campaigns achieve their goals more quickly.

  • Cross-Promotional Opportunities: Highlighting campaigns from GoFundMe allows us to support a broader spectrum of causes and connect with a wider audience. This cross-promotion benefits both the campaign organizers and potential donors looking for causes to support.

2. Supporting Campaign Growth

  • Advertising and Promotion: We understand the importance of visibility in successful fundraising. By showcasing GoFundMe campaigns, we provide an advertising platform that helps these campaigns reach potential donors who might not have discovered them otherwise.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Collaborating with GoFundMe and featuring their campaigns on our site strengthens the fundraising ecosystem, ensuring that worthwhile causes receive the attention and support they deserve.

How We Help Other GoFundMe Campaigns Grow
