AUG 2024: Reaching out for help has never been easy for me, but recent challenges have left me no choice but to seek support. After nearly two years battling cancer, consequent immune problems, coping with the sudden loss of a business partner, I faced another situation when my mother's mental health necessitated a move to a care facility. My first trip through cancer I had the ability to dive into my assets to get through it all. After my Mom's issues and this 2nd bout I am wiped out. I don't have the ability to handle this on my own. These hardships have taken a toll on my physical and mental health. I had to move into temporary, expensive housing for five weeks due to these unforeseen circumstances. Now I have other housing but I am regularly lagging on rent, and after related mobility issues, I need to physical therapy. I've had to argue for it with my insurance company. My next choice is joint surgery and 6+ months or so of recovery. It's an option I don't want to have to entertain. These medical costs are overwhelming and because of the cancer treatments (side effect) my mobility is now suffering. Your support would make an immediate impact by helping me cover essential healthcare premiums, co-pays, outstanding balances, time lost on arguments with insurance, securing my own stable housing, and help me make a transition back to what I've known as "normal". Your contributions help me DAILY, no matter the amount.
