Hi. I'm a mixed Asian and Indigenous 2S artist who needs to save up for some medical treatment. I have PTSD and other mental problems, and the only thing left to try is SGB injections. I have been receiving mental help for over 15 years, and this has been recommended by my doctor since it's the only thing we haven't tried. All other methods have failed. That's how severe my case is, and why multiple professionals have said I NEED to try SGB. Unfortunately, it's not covered by my insurance. The reason why this is so important to me is the constant stress on my body is also exacerbating my neurodegenerative disease. The longer this goes on, the more I forget how to do my work, and the less I am able to work as a result. I am constantly in pain due to my spine degenerating. However, I currently do not qualify for SSI since I am still "technically" able to work on my business. I have tried and failed to work a "real" job under other employers. The cost isn't just for the procedure, but also to cover the cost of travel, the hotel, and other misc. expenses that I haven't financially recovered from due to recent disasters. Any extra money will be used for living expenses. I need to help support my family since my parents are going senile. As some of you may know, we also recently had an issue where a neighbor's house exploded and damaged some of our house, costing some hefty repairs. It's been one thing after another, and I haven't been able to catch a break. I've been trying to work for the money on my own, but life just keeps kicking me down. I don't like asking for help, but here I am. I am hoping that this will help jumpstart my new life so I can actually be a productive member of society instead of having to live through constant brain fog, panic attacks, dissociative amnesia, and pain.
