Heute möchte ich euch meinen Sohn Dane vorstellen. Dane ist 3 Jahre alt und ein absoluter Kämpfer. Er ist unser Sonnenschein und erobert mit seinem Lächeln jedes Herz. Doch hinter diesem Lächeln versteckt sich ein harter Kampf, ein Kampf den er alleine nicht bewältigen kann und dafür braucht er eure Hilfe.
Als Dane zur Welt kam war er ein ganz normaler Säugling, der nie ein Anzeichen machte das etwas nicht stimmte. Mit 8 Monaten merken wir das erste mal das etwas nicht stimmt. Er machte keine Entwicklungsschritte, also drehte sich nicht und fing nicht an zu krabbeln. 2 Jahre suchten diverse Ärzte eine Diagnose, aber erstmal ohne Erfolg. Letztes Jahr kam dann die Diagnose:
Dane leidet an Zerepralparese (eine Schädigung im Gehirn) wodurch er eine Entwicklungsstörung hat. Er kann nicht laufen, nicht alleine sitzen und auch essen kann er alleine nicht richtig. Motorisch ist er auf einem Altersstand vom ca 8-10 Monate. Ob er irgendwann Sprechen kann, ist unklar. Woher diese Schädigung im Gehirn kommt ist bis heute unklar und es wird immer noch weiter gesucht.
Als sei das alles nicht genug kam im Sommer 2023 noch Epilepsie dazu. Dane bekamm viele und teilweise sehr schlimme Anfälle das wir viel im Krankenhaus waren. Im Oktober 2023 erlitt er dann einen Status epilepticus und kam auf die Intensivstation und hat das fast nicht überlebt.
Diese ganzen epileptischen Anfälle haben Ihn in seiner Entwicklung sehr zurückgeworfen, viele Dinge was er bereits konnte war einfach weg und er muss es von neu lernen.
Dane bekommt nun starke Medikamente gegen seine Epilepsie wodurch er zwar Anfallsfrei ist, die aber seine Entwicklung einschränken und langfristig seinen Körper schädigen können, hauptsächlich die Leber.
Ein Arzt in der Rehaklinik sagte uns letztes Jahr das Dane nie ohne hilfsmittel laufen kann,
aber Dane weiss was er will und zwar will er laufen. Er übt jeden Tag in seinem Gehtrainer, 3-4 mal die woche bei der Physio- und Ergotherapie und beim Reiten. Den nächsten Schritt haben wir gerade hinteruns, seine Muskeln an den Armen und Beinen wurden operiert, da Sie verkürzt waren und er dadurch in seiner beweglichkeit eingeschränkt war. Jetzt müssen diese Muskeln trainiert und gestärkt werden um die Beweglichkeit weiter zu verbessern. All das reicht leider noch nicht aus denn sein Rücken ist zu Schwach, er hat eine Muskelschwäche im Rücken wo durch es Ihm nicht möglich ist sein Gleichgewicht zu halten. Das braucht er aber um zu laufen oder alleine zu sitzen.
Dabei könnt Ihr unserem Sonnenschein helfen. Wir wollen mit diesen Spenden Dane Dinge wie Therapiegeräte, Behandlungen, Therapien ermöglichen die nicht übernommen werden. Unter anderem wollen wir Ihm ein Galileotrainer ermöglichen denn dies zahlt leider die Krankenkasse nicht. Ein Galileo ist eine Vibrationsplatte die, die Tiefenmuskulatur stimuliert und aufbaut, genau was Dane braucht um seine Muskeln im Rücken zu trainieren, damit er sitzen und laufen kann.
Ein Upsee (laufhilfe) würde es Dane auch ermöglichen sein laufen noch mehr zu trainieren und an Lebensqualität zu gewinnen aber auch dies wird meistens nicht von der Krankenkasse bezahlt.
Wir durften uns für 3 Monate ein Galileo im SPZ leihen und haben sofort fortschritte gesehen. Mit seinem eigenen Galileo könnte Dane dauerhaft seine schwachen Muskeln trainieren.
Wir geben die Hoffnung nicht auf und glauben ganz fest daran das Dane eines Tages ohne Hilfsmittel laufen kann und wir hoffen dabei auf eure Unterstützung.
Dane hat ein Kämpferherz aber alleine schafft er es nicht. ❤️

Today I would like to introduce you to my son Dane. He is 3 years old and an absolute fighter. He is our sunshine and conquers every heart with his smile. Finally, you should leave it behind when it is the focus of the fight, and the fight he cannot handle alone and for that he needs your help.
Dane suffers from cerepral palsy, which gives him a developmental disability. He can't walk, can't sit or eat alone, can't be alone. The engine is approximately 8-10 months old. It is unclear whether he will be able to speak at some point.
As if all that wasn't enough, epilepsy was added in the summer of 2023. In October 2023 he suffered status epilepticus and was taken to the intensive care unit and almost didn't survive.
These epileptic episodes have an impact on the body and must be taken into account.
If you don't have strong medication for his epilepsy, which makes him seizure-free but limits his development and can cause long-term damage to his body.
A doctor at the rehabilitation clinic told us last year that Dane would never be able to walk without aids,
but Dane knows what he wants and he wants to walk. He practices on his gait trainer every day, with physical and occupational therapy 3-4 times a week, and with horseback riding. We also have the arm and operator commands that we use. Unfortunately, all of this is not enough because his back is too weak, he has muscle weakness in his back, which means he is not able to keep his balance. But he needs that to walk or sit alone.
This means you will not hear any further information. We want to use these donations to enable Dane to have a Galileo trainer, because unfortunately the health insurance doesn't cover this. A Galileo is a vibration plate that stimulates and builds core muscles, which is exactly what Dane needs to train the muscles in his back so he can sit and walk.
Tossed and borrowed a Galileo from the SPZ for 3 months and immediately saw steps. Since Galileo is capable of this, you need to train your train.
We are not giving up hope and firmly believe that Dane will one day be able to do this without any aids and we hope for your support.
