Después de una primera hospitalización, ha sido ingresada nuevamente, esta vez en la unidad de cuidados intensivos. Se encuentra en coma inducido y entubada debido a un shock séptico causado por una infección grave.
Hoy, 10 de septiembre de 2024, el infectólogo ha determinado que el foco de la infección es una neumonía por broncoaspiración, con todos los parámetros indicativos de una condición séptica crítica.
Estamos haciendo todo lo posible para que reciba la mejor atención, pero los gastos médicos son inmensos y nuestra familia está enfrentando una carga financiera significativa en este momento. Por ello, recurrimos a su generosidad para solicitar su ayuda y apoyo. Nuestra amada Nonna, María Hilda Contreras, quien vive en Venezuela, está enfrentando una situación crítica de salud. Esta en estado catatonico, sufriendo de deshidratación severa, Transtorno bipolar(tratado) deterioro del estado neurologico, enteroclotis infecciosa y complicaciones graves. A pesar de los esfuerzos médicos, aún no se ha determinado la causa, y María Hilda se encuentra hospitalizada indefinitivamente.
La situación en Venezuela hace que este momento sea aún más desafiante, y necesitamos su apoyo para cubrir los gastos médicos, transporte, y comida para los familiares que se encuentran al lado de ella. Cualquier ayuda, por pequeña que sea, hará una gran diferencia en su recuperación.

La causa aun sigue indeterminada, estamos en espera de resultados de estudios realizados con el nefrólogo, gastroenterólogo, y neurólogo. Ya le quitaron la sonda nasogastrica, el medico de cabecera le ordeno el alta con indicaciones de tener una enfermera en su casa en los proximos dias. Adicional a eso, no se le ha podido realizar una resonancia magnetica, mandada por el psiquiatra, debido al estado que se encontraba, lo cual queda pendiente próximamente. En conjunto con citas al neurólogo para asesorar su estado neurológico. Los mantendremos informados.

The cause remains undetermined, and we are awaiting the results of studies conducted by the nephrologist, gastroenterologist, and neurologist. The nasogastric tube has been removed, and the attending physician has ordered discharge with instructions to have a nurse at home in the coming days. Additionally, the MRI requested by the psychiatrist has not been performed due to the patient’s condition, so it remains pending.
