Donate to Alisha Komives Medical expenses, organized by Kalinn Komives

Hi, my name is KK. I am fundraising for some you all know, Alisha Komives, but I know her as mom. This amazing, strong woman is having to go in for another brain and eye surgery this week. Afterwards, she will have to go to Minnesota to see a spinal specialist for possibly another spine surgery as well. With a long road of recovery. I know times are tough, anything is appreciated. We all know traveling, food, and stay is not cheap, especially for whoever accompanies her. They are not always allowed to stay with her at the hospital. Any amount that you are able to help with is greatly appreciated. Please share with family and friends. Update from Alisha: 6/15/24 Everyone know’s that I am an open book! This time around, It will be no different. I have just waited a little longer before telling everybody. Normally I come on here I tell you they found something. I’m gonna go get it fixed and I wait for the recovery and I’m back to normal. This time was not the happy ending after coming out of my brain procedure this past weekend it is obvious that nothing needs to be fixed in it. Great right! Wrong I am suffering some things that have the medical field confused. My balance is that of a drunk sailor, my blood pressure can be 207/198 when 67 one minute and 30 minutes later I am collapsing because it dropped 62/43 HB 119. I shake as if I am freezing , chattering teeth and all while dripping in sweat, I average 3:34 a night in sleep etc. etc. etc. There is so much more but that is a small clip. This seems to be a mix of the micro neurons being on a miscommunication loop with my heart. I have developed a tricuspid in my aorta started small and gaining size. My spine is so painful 8 months out. Instead of getting better I am almost crippled. I have been Palliative care now for over three months with no changes. The agreement was if there was not a fix or a Dr. that was willing to try we needed to get signed up on hospice so I am not laying here in agonizing pain with no hope to proceed on. Don’t be sad anybody who knows me knows I’m a lot tougher than that and so I will be continuing to fight until the last minute. I’m leaving on June 24 after finding out 7&8 grand baby’s are due soon . I will be having a procedure done on my heart, which hopefully will be followed by a specialist flying in to see if they can fix my spine that we believe may be damaged. This is not a guarantee but I am not in a hurry to sign up for hospice. Not that I exacted about surgery #31 but I’m pretty excited about possibly being fixed and out of pain and my poor heart to quite working so hard. This is a big deal and I will fine for a bit but if it works it will be amazing. We’re doing a big yard-sale fundraiser tomorrow and Sunday. If you can stop by, that would be great to raise some money. As well as a GO Fund Me This is going to be a proces. Each and everyone of you kept me going and each, and everyone of you have prayed for me, sent me thoughts and good vibes and I appreciate it. If not too much to ask keep them coming still because I’m technically scared shitless this time. Read more

Why GoFundMe Articles and URLs Appear on Our Website?

Why GoFundMe Articles and URLs Appear on Our Website and How We Support Other GoFundMe Campaigns

At LFEBridge Foundation, we are dedicated to creating a platform where individuals and organizations can maximize their fundraising efforts. As part of our commitment to supporting a wide range of causes, we incorporate articles and URLs from GoFundMe into our website. Here’s why you might see GoFundMe content on our site, how it benefits the fundraising community, and our relationship with GoFundMe:

1. Amplifying Reach for Fundraising Campaigns

  • Increased Visibility: By featuring GoFundMe articles and URLs on our platform, we help increase the visibility of various fundraising campaigns. This additional exposure can attract more donors and supporters, helping campaigns achieve their goals more quickly.

  • Cross-Promotional Opportunities: Highlighting campaigns from GoFundMe allows us to support a broader spectrum of causes and connect with a wider audience. This cross-promotion benefits both the campaign organizers and potential donors looking for causes to support.

2. Supporting Campaign Growth

  • Advertising and Promotion: We understand the importance of visibility in successful fundraising. By showcasing GoFundMe campaigns, we provide an advertising platform that helps these campaigns reach potential donors who might not have discovered them otherwise.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Collaborating with GoFundMe and featuring their campaigns on our site strengthens the fundraising ecosystem, ensuring that worthwhile causes receive the attention and support they deserve.

3. Expanding Donor Networks

  • Broader Donor Base: Featuring a variety of campaigns from different platforms helps diversify and expand the donor base. This means more people can learn about and contribute to a variety of causes, ultimately driving higher engagement and donations.

  • Enhanced Outreach: By integrating GoFundMe content, we help campaigns tap into new networks and communities, broadening their reach and potential impact.

How We Help Other GoFundMe Campaigns Grow

1. Featured Campaigns Section

  • Highlighting Noteworthy Campaigns: We have a dedicated section on our website where we feature noteworthy GoFundMe campaigns. This not only gives these campaigns a spotlight but also encourages visitors to explore and contribute to them.

  • Rotating Features: To ensure a diverse range of campaigns get visibility, we regularly rotate the featured campaigns. This continuous update keeps the content fresh and engaging for our audience.

2. Social Media Promotion

  • Sharing Across Platforms: We share selected GoFundMe campaigns on our social media channels to reach a broader audience. Our followers, in turn, can share these posts, amplifying the reach even further.

  • Engagement Strategies: Utilizing effective engagement strategies, such as storytelling and compelling visuals, we enhance the appeal of these campaigns, driving more traffic and donations.

3. Email Newsletters

  • Campaign Highlights: Our email newsletters often include highlights of impactful GoFundMe campaigns. By doing so, we bring these causes directly to the inboxes of our subscribers, encouraging more people to get involved and donate.

  • Donor Updates: We keep our donors informed about the progress and success of the campaigns they have supported, fostering a sense of community and continued engagement.

LFEBridge Foundation's Independence

It’s important to clarify that LFEBridge Foundation is an independent entity and is not part of or affiliated with GoFundMe. While we feature and support GoFundMe campaigns on our site, we operate as a separate foundation dedicated to collecting donations for various causes, similar to GoFundMe. Many of these causes are displayed on our website to provide donors with a wide range of options to support.

Conclusion

By featuring GoFundMe articles and URLs on our website, LFEBridge Foundation supports a wide array of fundraising campaigns, helping them gain the visibility and donations they need to succeed. Through our promotional efforts and strategic partnerships, we aim to create a robust and supportive environment for all fundraising initiatives.
