The Family of Gamal Al-Masri Seeks to Leave the Gaza Strip
Peace for you,
Hellow everybody! On writing this letter I hope to find you in a good health.
My name is Maria Isabel Couso from Madrid of Spain and I am writing to you for my freind Gamal Elmassri and his family from Gaza Strip who is suffering now a huge crisis due to the genocide war there.
I will now let him to update his won story;
The power has no Respect for Human Life
The Gaza Strip is on its way to becoming a land of cancer and deadly diseases following the genocide taking place now in the Strip.
They bombed Gaza by stupidity with artificial intelligence-powered bombs and missiles equivalent to approximately 4 nuclear bombs similars to those which destroyed Hiroshima and Nagasaki at the en of the 2nd world war in Japan.
We have become displaced 5 times among destroyed buildings, facilities, burnt bodies, crushed streets, and broken water and sewage networks. We are now like vagabonds, tramps and homeless among the dead, the wounded, the imprisoned, the missing, those buried under rubble, those trapped under ruins, and those wandering in the streets, engulfed in fear and terror. We are surrounded by horror from every direction: the terrifying sounds of explosions, the shrapnel from traded bombs, the cries of the injured childrens, wimen and men, calls for help, and the sounds of innocent deaths.
Agricultural lands, groundwater, the environment, and economic resources have been filled with deadly nuclear, gases and chemical wastes, making what remains in Gaza of less than 2,300,000 people over 365 km²—a breeding ground for deadly diseases and cancer, filled with patients and disabled people.
This situation has led, in the past, present, and likely future, to the migration of the Palestinian people from Gaza to countries all over the world. The international community is calling for an end to the war against the innocent in Gaza, especially in the northern region of the Strip. Yet, it is an illusion to think that life will return to normal after the war. The people will abandon their homeland and migrate due to the poisoning of everything: lands, water, and resources. There is total destruction, economic collapse, the spread of famine, lack of safety, and the endless wait for reconstruction.
As such, my family and I wish to leave the Gazan Strip, fearing the risk of diseases like cancer and the fear of war recurring. It is also worth mentioning that my wife and I suffer from chronic illnesses, including high blood pressure, and recent medical tests have shown glandular hyperfunction, which has caused functional disorders.
Based on the above, we intend to leave the Strip, and we call on you to help, save, and contribute financially to the cost of leaving Gaza. The estimated cost is around 40,000 USD, which includes approximately the following: passport application fees, travel expenses, visa fees, travel insurance, residence permit fees, medical insurance, medical exams, blood pressure medications, and other treatments (e.g., dermatological treatments and glasses), rent, living expenses for several months, school tuition, association fees, bank debt repayment, displacement expenses (moving from Gaza to Rafah and Khan Yunis during the war on Gaza for 13 months), travel tickets to other countries in South America or Northern Europe, and finally, legal fees to file a compensation case for the destruction of my home, valued at over a quarter of a million dollars, which included four apartments: one for myself and one for each of my three sons and their families.
"I don’t want to suffer more, I want to live in peace said my daughter Raghad, I need beautiful life, I deserve to live in peace
The war crushed all inocent features in our lives.
It is a huge pain, my home, all the houses in my street and locality demolished totally and their owners escaped, injured or killed, where we go God!!!???. Said small daughter.
Now, I have no home or part of home neither school nor UNrwa clinic, hospital destroyed!!!.??? No body remaines, no tears remaines in our eyes, with broken heart we left our home & locality, its Beit Hanoun Town in northern Gaza.
One UN high caliber senior said; If there is hell on the earth it will be northern Gaza.
