Liebe Unterstützerinnen und Unterstützer, Unsere kleine Tochter Rinad, 3 Jahre alt, steht vor großen Herausforderungen. Sie leidet an zwei sehr seltenen Krankheiten: CD59-Mangel und dem Moyamoya-Syndrom. Diese Krankheiten haben einen enormen Einfluss auf ihr Leben – Rinad kann nicht laufen und ihr Immunsystem ist stark geschwächt. Rinad kann kein normales Leben wie andere Kinder führen. Wir haben sogar Angst, sie in den Park zum Spielen zu bringen, da selbst eine leichte Infektion ihr Leben gefährden könnte. In ihrer Frühförderung muss sie in einem Einzelraum bleiben, da sie keine engen Kontakte zu anderen Kindern haben darf – eine Situation, die uns als Eltern sehr schmerzt. Rinad benötigt mehrere komplizierte Operationen im Kinderspital Zürich in der Schweiz, zusätzlich zu regelmäßigen Terminen in Deutschland, darunter: Monatliche Untersuchungen im UKM Münster Wöchentliche Physiotherapie-Sitzungen Reisen und Aufenthalte in der Schweiz, da die Krankenkasse nicht alle Kosten abdeckt Unsere derzeitige Wohnung im dritten Stock ist für Rinad und ihren Rollstuhl völlig ungeeignet. Daher planen wir, im Mai 2025 in eine neue, barrierefreie Wohnung umzuziehen. Leider fehlt uns das nötige Geld, um die neue Wohnung auszustatten und den besonderen Bedürfnissen unserer Tochter anzupassen. Zusätzlich brauchen wir dringend ein behindertengerechtes Fahrzeug, um Rinad sicher und bequem zu ihren vielen Arztterminen und Therapien zu bringen. Wie können Sie helfen? Your attention and compassion mean so much to us and give us hope to get the help Rinad desperately needs. Our little daughter Rinad, 3 years old, is facing great challenges. She suffers from two very rare diseases: CD59 deficiency and Moyamoya syndrome. These conditions have a huge impact on her life – Rinad cannot walk, and her immune system is severely weakened. Rinad cannot live a normal life like other children. We are even afraid to take her to the park to play because even a minor infection could pose a significant risk to her health. In her early intervention program, she has to stay in a private room to avoid close contact with other children – a situation that deeply saddens us as parents. Rinad requires multiple complex surgeries at the Children’s Hospital in Zurich, Switzerland, along with regular treatments in Germany, including: Monthly appointments at UKM Münster Weekly physiotherapy sessions Travel and accommodation in Switzerland, as health insurance does not cover all costs Our current apartment on the third floor is completely unsuitable for Rinad and her wheelchair. That’s why we plan to move to a new, accessible apartment in May 2025. Unfortunately, we lack the financial resources to furnish the new home and adapt it to Rinad’s special needs.
