Since the outbreak of war in Lebanon, Give Me A Paw has been on the frontlines, rescuing animals trapped in areas under constant threat of bombing.
Due to the mass immigration from the war, HUNDREDS of animals have been abandoned. Left behind, locked in their homes, in pet shops, and chained. Trapped, with no shelter, food or water and without a voice.
But these innocent souls have not been forgotten.
Since September 26 the Give Me A Paw rescue missions to the war zone in the South of Lebanon began. We sent a call out to everyone to report animals stuck in the south and started our mission of saving the animals left behind in the chaos.
Every day since then, our dedicated team members are risking their lives every day, going into these dangerous zones to provide vital assistance. Entering evacuated towns and bombed buildings, in search of these animals left behind.
On the way we have been rescuing strays injured from bombs, unchaining dogs, and leaving an abundance of food and water for strays in these neighborhoods who now find themselves in ghost towns. We began distributing dozens of bags of food to the few shelters in the area, and collaborated with the Civil Defense to help us continue feeding strays as these areas become inaccessible.
By now, many animals are either dead or on their last breaths. They’ve been abandoned for days, left hungry, thirsty, and injured. But we will not give up meanwhile there are still animals trapped and in need.
But we need your help.
With the influx of rescues and the increasing needs, our shelter is now overwhelmed. Each rescue mission is extremely costly. Many animals we rescue need emergency surgeries or expensive medical treatments and costly boarding expenses, as our shelter is over capacity. We are taking in more animals than ever before, but we cannot continue without your support.

Mais ces âmes innocentes n'ont pas été oubliées.
Depuis le 26 septembre, les missions de sauvetage de Give Me A Paw dans la zone de guerre du sud du Liban ont commencé. Nous avons lancé un appel à tous pour signaler les animaux coincés dans le sud et avons commencé notre mission de sauvetage des animaux abandonnés dans le chaos.
Depuis lors, chaque jour, les membres de notre équipe dévouée risquent leur vie, se rendant dans ces zones dangereuses pour apporter une aide vitale. Ils pénètrent dans les villes évacuées et les bâtiments bombardés, à la recherche de ces animaux abandonnés.
En chemin, nous avons secouru des animaux errants blessés par des bombes, nous avons détaché des chiens et nous avons laissé une abondance de nourriture et d'eau aux animaux errants de ces quartiers qui se retrouvent maintenant dans des villes fantômes. Nous avons commencé à distribuer des dizaines de sacs de nourriture aux quelques refuges de la région et avons collaboré avec la Défense civile pour nous aider à continuer à nourrir les animaux errants alors que ces zones deviennent inaccessibles.
À l'heure actuelle, de nombreux animaux sont morts ou sur le point de rendre leur dernier souffle. Ils ont été abandonnés pendant des jours, affamés, assoiffés et blessés. Mais nous n'abandonnerons pas tant qu'il y a encore des animaux coincés et dans le besoin.
Mais nous avons besoin de votre aide.
Avec l'afflux de sauvetages et les besoins croissants, notre refuge est désormais débordé. Chaque mission de sauvetage est extrêmement coûteuse. De nombreux animaux que nous sauvons ont besoin d'opérations chirurgicales d'urgence ou de traitements médicaux coûteux et de frais de pension coûteux, car notre refuge est surchargé. Nous accueillons plus d'animaux que jamais auparavant, mais nous ne pouvons pas continuer sans votre soutien.
