Donate to Support for Hudson James' Grieving Parents, organized by Jessica Williamson

07/15/2024 at 8:50 AM  Hudson was laid to rest at our home, it was one of the hardest days of my life. We had a small service for him, just us and our parents. We each shoveled dirt in his grave one step at a time. He is buried under our elm tree, the first thing that Dylan and I fell in love with at our property. It’s an old tree, shaded, and just the most serene spot for Hudson. Dylan’s parents were gracious enough to purchase the fence around his grave. Dylan’s dad built the cross that rests at Hudson’s head. My parents have donated money so we can order a headstone and some artificial grass to go over Hudson’s grave. We want it to be perfect year round because that’s exactly what Hudson was, perfect. Please continue to pray for peace and healing for us. It is extremely difficult going through postpartum healing when I don’t have a baby in my arms to hold.  07/13/2024 at 4:35 AM  Today is the day, the day that I dread the most. Hudson spent the night with his Mema and Papa Benson, and will be laid to rest here at our home this morning. Burying our beautiful baby boy weighs so heavy on my chest. It is a pain no parent should ever have to go through. Please pray for us today as we are hurting. Today will be hard for us, but knowing our baby is finally home makes me have some peace.  07/11/2024 at 3:52 AM This is not something I ever imagined I would do, much less go through. Dylan and I have been together almost 20 years, and have been married for 14. We lost a baby in 2014 through a miscarriage so when we find out we were pregnant this year (2024) we knew it was a miracle. Our pregnancy was perfect, textbook in every way until our world shattered just a few days ago. I went to the OB doctor for some pressure, thinking it was an UTI upon a pelvic exam we discovered that my cervix had dropped, the bag around our baby had been exposed, and a miracle was needed. We were rushed to UNC Chapel Hill where we discovered that due to my dilation and the location of the bag outside the cervix, our only option was to attempt a procedure called a cerclage, which wasn’t a guarantee. We decided to sleep on that decision, but at 3 am on July 9th my water broke. I was induced, and just before noon delivered our beautiful baby boy Hudson James who was born asleep. The mental toll that we experienced knowing we were going to deliver and our child was too young to survive, is truly something I don’t know we will overcome. With my delivery being so premature, my company will not honor FMLA as I have not been there a year (just a month shy). In addition, my company does not do paid maternity leave, so anytime that I have for recovery is at no pay. I’m not sure how long my physical recovery will be, and I can’t imagine my mental state either. Any donation that is received will go towards bills as I did help pay for a significant amount while working. I want to lessen the financial burden for my husband who is already so heartbroken over the loss of our son. If you cannot financially donate, please more than anything pray. Pray for peace, strength, comfort, and calmness for my husband and I as we navigate this life without our miracle baby boy. We will be burying him here at home over the weekend, but those expenses are taken care of. Please keep us in your thoughts. This is the worst pain we have ever had to experience. Read more

Why GoFundMe Articles and URLs Appear on Our Website?

Why GoFundMe Articles and URLs Appear on Our Website and How We Support Other GoFundMe Campaigns

At LFEBridge Foundation, we are dedicated to creating a platform where individuals and organizations can maximize their fundraising efforts. As part of our commitment to supporting a wide range of causes, we incorporate articles and URLs from GoFundMe into our website. Here’s why you might see GoFundMe content on our site, how it benefits the fundraising community, and our relationship with GoFundMe:

1. Amplifying Reach for Fundraising Campaigns

  • Increased Visibility: By featuring GoFundMe articles and URLs on our platform, we help increase the visibility of various fundraising campaigns. This additional exposure can attract more donors and supporters, helping campaigns achieve their goals more quickly.

  • Cross-Promotional Opportunities: Highlighting campaigns from GoFundMe allows us to support a broader spectrum of causes and connect with a wider audience. This cross-promotion benefits both the campaign organizers and potential donors looking for causes to support.

2. Supporting Campaign Growth

  • Advertising and Promotion: We understand the importance of visibility in successful fundraising. By showcasing GoFundMe campaigns, we provide an advertising platform that helps these campaigns reach potential donors who might not have discovered them otherwise.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Collaborating with GoFundMe and featuring their campaigns on our site strengthens the fundraising ecosystem, ensuring that worthwhile causes receive the attention and support they deserve.

3. Expanding Donor Networks

  • Broader Donor Base: Featuring a variety of campaigns from different platforms helps diversify and expand the donor base. This means more people can learn about and contribute to a variety of causes, ultimately driving higher engagement and donations.

  • Enhanced Outreach: By integrating GoFundMe content, we help campaigns tap into new networks and communities, broadening their reach and potential impact.

How We Help Other GoFundMe Campaigns Grow

1. Featured Campaigns Section

  • Highlighting Noteworthy Campaigns: We have a dedicated section on our website where we feature noteworthy GoFundMe campaigns. This not only gives these campaigns a spotlight but also encourages visitors to explore and contribute to them.

  • Rotating Features: To ensure a diverse range of campaigns get visibility, we regularly rotate the featured campaigns. This continuous update keeps the content fresh and engaging for our audience.

2. Social Media Promotion

  • Sharing Across Platforms: We share selected GoFundMe campaigns on our social media channels to reach a broader audience. Our followers, in turn, can share these posts, amplifying the reach even further.

  • Engagement Strategies: Utilizing effective engagement strategies, such as storytelling and compelling visuals, we enhance the appeal of these campaigns, driving more traffic and donations.

3. Email Newsletters

  • Campaign Highlights: Our email newsletters often include highlights of impactful GoFundMe campaigns. By doing so, we bring these causes directly to the inboxes of our subscribers, encouraging more people to get involved and donate.

  • Donor Updates: We keep our donors informed about the progress and success of the campaigns they have supported, fostering a sense of community and continued engagement.

LFEBridge Foundation's Independence

It’s important to clarify that LFEBridge Foundation is an independent entity and is not part of or affiliated with GoFundMe. While we feature and support GoFundMe campaigns on our site, we operate as a separate foundation dedicated to collecting donations for various causes, similar to GoFundMe. Many of these causes are displayed on our website to provide donors with a wide range of options to support.

Conclusion

By featuring GoFundMe articles and URLs on our website, LFEBridge Foundation supports a wide array of fundraising campaigns, helping them gain the visibility and donations they need to succeed. Through our promotional efforts and strategic partnerships, we aim to create a robust and supportive environment for all fundraising initiatives.
