Hi My name is Norma I’m trying to raise money for traveling and monthly expenses. On November 28, 2023 my husband Alejandro was diagnosed with interstitial lung disease. After many X-rays bloodwork & endoscopy we were told the only way he can continue with life was a Lung transplant. It was heartbreaking to hear. Due to his illness he has to stop working he was on oxygen support 24/7. It was a life changing for us from being dependent, hard working, always trying to help others to been very limited on his daily activities. He wasn’t able to do much due to his oxygen level dropping quickly. On April 24,2024 he was rushed to the E.R due to respiratory insufficiency, we were told by the doctor we was going to be admitted due to his lungs had deteriorated quickly.The pulmonologist had began the transfer to U.C San Diego Health On May 3rd he was approved and transferred to San Diego. After going thru all the evaluation he was accepted as a transplant candidate, on May 13th he was officially on the waiting list. As we continued with prayers asking God to continue to give him strength as we awaited for the donor. It’s a very difficult time for the family of the person donating, as for us waiting for a miracle. On May 18 we received the best news he was going to be receiving the transplant. In this hard times I am asking my family, friends & any one willing to help any donations will be truly appreciated. Hola mi nombre es Norma y estoy tratando de recaudar fondos para gastos mensuales y gasolina. En Noviembre 24,2023 a mi esposo Alejandro lo diasnoticaron con fibrosis pulmonar es una enfermedad que secatrisa los pulmones después de todos los estudios nos dieron la mala noticia, la única manera que el podía seguir con su vida era atraves de un transplante de pulmón . Su vida cambio por completo por su enfermedad el tubo que dejar de trabajar. Sus actividades diarias fueron afectadas drasticamente ya que el dependia de oxígeno 24 horas al dia 7 días de la semana. En April 24 fue llevado a emergencias por no poder respirar sus pulmones se avían deteriorado aún más. La Pulmonologa esmpeso los tramites para que fuera transladado al Hospital de SanDiego donde se realizaría el transplante. El día 3 de Mayo fue aprobado y transferido al hospital de SanDiego. Continuamos con oraciones para que Dios le diera las fuerzas para seguir adelante mientras esperábamos el milagro. Son momentos muy difíciles para la familia de la persona que decide donar, como la familia que espera por el donador. Gracias a todas las oraciones el 18 de Mayo recibimos la gran noticia que avía un donador y recibió su transplante gracias a Dios todo salió bien son momentos muy difíciles estoy pidiendo a mi familia, amigos y los que puedan ayudar cada donación será agradecida que Dios los bendiga.
