My name is Maria, my husband and I live in Utah and have 4 little children (3 living and 1 that passed away). I would never have dreamed of even doing this and it has taken all my courage to even put this together. I am down to my last option. It is the most humbling thing I've ever had to do. I worked for a company for 7 years. I worked 7 days a week for them and never took a day off. My boss had given me a car and said it was a gift, somewhere in the fine print it said that the car would be owed in full if I were to no longer work there. A few months ago, I was suddenly let go with no notice. My position became an AI position and they dropped me like a hat with no severance. Things have been extremely difficult for our family ever since. Prior to this, my husband and I started a pressure washing company and we have been working extremely hard to get it off the ground. We use this car for work; it is the only vehicle we have. It is a large SUV and we are able to fit our industrial pressure washer/equipment in it. We have been doing everything to get ahead financially and it has been a very challenging few months. Despite all our efforts, we have been faced with one crisis after another and have gotten further and further behind. We have been trying extremely hard to get out of this situation. When we get one thing resolved and finally start to see the light at the end of the road, something else happens. We have tried to pay as much as we can towards our car but it hasn't been enough. This past Sunday, my car was suddenly repossessed and picked up. My boss no longer is willing to wait for us to make payments. He is demanding the car to be paid in full or we will lose it and it will be sold in auction. We will lose everything that we've put towards the car already and be sued for the remaining balance after the auction sale. My car was in an accident 2 years ago and it won't sell for a lot, so we will still owe quite a bit. As I mentioned before, we use this car for work and so without a car we are unable to get to our pressure washing jobs. It has been absolutely devastating as we have given our blood, sweat, and tears to solidify these jobs and grow our business to provide for our family. I am trying to raise the funds needed to save my car and get it back so we can continue to work and get out of this awful situation. I trust in Jesus. He is my strength and my courage. Without Him, I wouldn't be here today. He has time and again pulled our family out of the ashes. I have great faith in Him that He will work something out for our family.
