Hello. First of all let me say thank you for visiting my fundraiser. I greatly appricate and value your time in doing so. My name is Jason but many of you may know me as The Vern. I am the owner and host of Cinema Recall podcast. We started back in 2019 and have had many great years reviewing movies with some of the best podcasters in the world. We have also been able to interview some of the best independent filmmakers and actors around. My favorite thing about doing a podcast is being able to connect with so many creative and wonderful people and I love being able to promote thier works whenever I can. As you all know running a podcast is never an easy thing. It costs money to run one and recently I have falling into some money issues. I made a mistake and ended up miscalucating payments to my bills which caused me to go under in my bank account. My work can only schedule me so many hours and I have been trying to get in any extra hours that I can. The result of all this is that It's going to be very difficult to find time to record shows because I am going to be working more to get my accounts back to normal. I have an upcoming audio drama project that I think is very quite unique and different. It's am adaptation of Reservoir Dogs but with an all femae cast. None of the names of the charaters will change, just their gender. All the roles have been cast but we have not yet recorded anything. I'm afraid that with my current situation. I will not have much free time to work on this project liker I want to. I have done some pretty cool audio dramas in the past and will list them below so you can listen to them. Plan 9 from Outer Space (My first ever attempt at editing one. It sounds better with headphones) Night of the Living Dead ( It took a very long time to edit this one with all the voice actors, sound effects and music) Audio Drama Apatations ( For one season I had guests come on to review a movie and at the end we perform a scene from it. Titles include, Jaws, Clueless, The Wolf of Wall Street and more ) Clue (My most recent audio drama that was made with the association of Rabbit Hole Podcasts) These projects have been very fun to put together but also a lot of work and Im using a very basic editing software to do so. I really would like to use something that really enhances it more and makes it sound like its in full stereo instead of mono which these do sound like. I would also like to be able to get better microphones and a mixer for my co host and guests. But all of those cost money that I do not have at the moment. Your donation will be used to help get this podcast out from under so that we can continue giving you great entertainment. We always do our best in sharing posts from other amazing podcasters on social media and will gladly play thier ads spots on our episodes.
