Donate to Red's 250km walk in October for animals in the Middle East, organized by Benjamin Whitley

Hello, my name is Red, and I'm a rescued Podenco Hound living with my Papa in Crystal Palace, London. I'm originally from Murcia, Spain, but was left in a basement and yard alone, until I was rescued by some kind souls, who helped bring me to London so I could have a wonderful life. I've been deeply affected by the horrific images we've all seen of ongoing conflict in the Middle East, and want to help all of my animal friends whose homes are being destroyed, and are in grave danger everyday. I'm hoping to raise as many funds as possible for an animal rescue and a sanctuary, Sulala Animal Rescue in Gaza, and Animals Lebanon in Beirut, over the course of the month of October, by walking 250km+ with my Papa. I'm raising these to help these organisations in their current state of emergency, making sure they have all the supplies they need for the animals they rescue, helping them tend to the many emergencies that they are currently facing, and give them a foundation to rebuild when the conflict hopefully will end, and end soon. Sulala Animal Rescue, is the only animal rescue in the entirety of Gaza that helps stray animals, and is facing great difficulties due to the volume of help needed, and the danger faced by all in the area. The rescue operates routine feeding tours to feed starving animals across the Gaza Strip, administers medical help inclusive of vaccination and neutering to animals who need it most, provides accommodation to keep animals safe and offers educational sessions for people in Gaza to offer support with caring for the animals around them. Animals Lebanon is an animal protection organisation which improves the welfare of animals through comprehensive national animal protection and welfare legislation. Like Gaza, Lebanon has experienced huge scale decimation and destruction, and Animals Lebanon is working hard to rescue animals left behind, reunite them with their loving families, find fosters for displaced animals and stockpile food, medication and necessary supplies to help the animals of Lebanon survive.
