Hello there, we are Old Man Studios We are an independent video game development company based in the United Kingdom. We work on our own independent projects and we are unique because we only onboard graduates and juniors looking to step into the competitive video game development industry. It is no secret that the video games industry is extremely brutal for career starters to get their foot through the door. In addition to the challenges of career starters getting their foot through the door, the games industry is constantly impacted by lay offs and a lack of job security for even senior veterans in the field. This leads to even fewer opportunities for graduates, and intense competition in the job market. Our main goal is to develop our independent projects such as Fallen Echo whilst we provide opportunities for careers starters who can come aboard and have the chance to contribute to cool projects and start their journey in the game development industry. Old Man Studios believes that graduates have a lot to offer and together we can shape this industry for the better for the next generations to come. The funds will be used for: Setting up store pages for our games (steam, appstore etc..) Purchase of high quality hardware assets to hasten the development process (devkits, Computers) Subscriptions to industry standard software packages Marketing Company merchandise for all Helping with onboarding of new team members Conferences and games showcase events We are currently working on our first release known as Fallen Echo where you play as a biomechanical soldier helping the resistance fight to take back planet earth from an alien race.
