Hi, my name is Wendy, I am a mother of 3 kids, this is embarrassing asking for help, but I don't know what else to do. I've played the Mother AND Father role all my kids lives ages 18, 10, and 9 yrs old. My youngest daughter, who this fundraiser is for, had 3 skull surgeries since the age of 1.5mo.s old. She's had thousands of Dr. appts, 4 doc band helmets, Therapies, etc. since she was 3 mo.s old. I was the one that spent all of her life taking her to all these appts, loving her, protecting her and fighting with her insurance to get her the best care and Neurosurgeon, Plastic Surgeon, Anthropologist.
(What I am about to say is NOT Libel or Slander, it is the cold hard TRUTH) Her Father chose NOT to be in her life for 6yrs, because he chose drugs, alcohol and homelessness over her. He beat on me, bit chunks of skin off me, busted a mason jar full of bloody mary over the back of my head, beat me over the back 30x with a wire hanger, tortured my now 18yr old. I did everything I could to protect my children from this man, nothing was ever done to him when the cops were called out, I was threatened to shut up and go in or the cops would call cps on me and arrest me.
When he bit me, the cop said he couldn't arrest him, because how did he know I didn't bite myself (how would I bite my own face). Another time when he bit my leg, the cop wouldn't even write a report, he said he would just take him to where he was staying, because he was drunk (he would always show up unannounced drunk or high and break in). I tried filing a another protetive order on him (filed one 2yrs prior), but Crime Victims said they couldn't file one, being the cop never wrote a report. This man called cps on me every chance he got, or when he was drunk and not getting his way, yet CPS knew I wasn't neglecting my children and every case got closed.
Let's fast forward, he decided to finally get his life in order, was staying in a sober house, only seen our daughter when it was convenient. Then the Sponser moved to Cali., my ex relapsed then decided he was also going to move to Cali., he rarely called her when he moved. Then he met his now wife and decided that he wanted to play Daddy the end of 2021.
I thought we had a great co-parenting relationship and bragged how much I liked his then gf now wife, but Lord was I wrong. They both were plotting against me to take mine and his daughter. Money talks in this county and it didn't help that he had a Lawyer and I didn't. But never in a million years did I think any Judge would grant my Abuser temporary custody which is what he has now and was allowed to take our Daughter Christmas day from Texas to California. My daughter should have NEVER even been temporarily taken from me. If I was such a bad mother then why did it take her Father 8 1/2yrs to come after her.
I NEVER refused letting him see her unless he was drunk or high. But now that the shoe is on the other foot it's a bother if I try to talk to our daughter when I want. I feel like our relationship with my daughter is being alienated. This has torn us up very bad. I am very depressed as well as my other 2 children. I mean, try raising, loving and protecting your child for 8 1/2yrs then them ripped from your arms because "you've apparently made some poor choices in life, with NO explanation". She was uprooted from the only home she's ever known, her sister and brother, her pets, her friends, her school.
I am needing help with Lawyer Fees and for the Transcript for the day we had this temporary hearing. Any and All help is appreciated. The Lawyer fee is $5,500 down and I was told with the hearing being 7hrs, the transcript would cost close to $2,000. I started crying when they told me how much this was going to cost, being it is a pending case, I thought it would be cheaper, but PLEASE help me, I NEED my baby back, I feel as if I've lost her for good. Thank Y'all for any help.
(I SEVERLY need HELP... Her father and step mother are alienating her from us, they are enrolling her in all kind of extra curricular activities, so she is too tired to talk to me when she gets to their home. Ever since I let the Therapist know he punched the seat trying to scare our daughter to stop crying, they have been showering her with gifts, I have to live my life around when I can talk to her, her step mother butts in to our closed door conversations and screams at me in front of our daughter. She is starting to call my daughter names, such as a sore loser. Her father and step mother undermine her and tell her she's lieing, and tells her how she is and isn't feeling. Her Father tells our daughter that I'm her bully because I want to talk to her every day. )
The updated picture is from when she was forced to go back to California in August. She kept begging and pleading with God, "WHY, WHY ME, GOD, WHY ARE YOU TAKIKG ME FROM MY FAMILY AND MY DOGS, THIS ISN'T FAIR." She kept telling our dog how she was going to miss him.
