Tot onze schrik is plotseling onze (schoon)Moeder/Oma overleden. Dit kwam totaal onverwachts voor ons allemaal. Miranda was nog maar 63 jaar jong. Moeder en Oma en hier was zij dan ook enorm trots op! Zij stond nog vol in het leven. Deed graag haar vrijwilligers werk in de huiskamer van Doesburg het knutselen en koken met kinderen vond zij geweldig, ondanks dat zij zelfs het soms lichamelijk even niet trok ging zij door en was zij altijd opgewekt en blij, ook genoot zij ervan om met familie samen te zijn dit was een belangrijk punt voor haar. Miranda heeft geen makkelijk leven gehad, en had dan ook niet enorm veel te besteden, vorig jaar heeft zij wel eindelijk een uitvaartverzekering af kunnen sluiten echter omdat zij binnen een jaar na afsluiten komt te overlijden word de uitvaart maar deels of geheel niet gedekt. Echter besluit een uitvaartverzekering dit pas na een uitvaart. Wij hebben dan ook als familie gekozen om niet voor een gemeentelijke uitvaart te gaan omdat hierbij dan niemand afscheid kon nemen van haar. Echter brengt een overlijden enorm veel kosten met zich mee zoals de uitvaart, het leeg halen van de woning en doordat de leefomstandigheden niet erg best waren moeten wij eigenlijk alles weg gooien, ook dit kost enorm veel geld in haar woon plaats, ook maken wij zelf enorm veel kosten om de woning in orde te krijgen.
