Mi nombre es Ysmael Artiles, soy dominicano residente en la ciudad de Perth Amboy, NJ, desde hace varios años. Soy el único sustento de mi familia aquí y también en mi país ya que tengo que mantener a mi madre que tiene una condición médica que requiere muchos gastos. Yo era dueño de un restaurante en Perth Amboy, Nueva Jersey, y el 14 de septiembre de 2022 el dueño del edificio de manera ilegal, sin orden de ninguna institución estatal, cambió las cerraduras de mi negocio, despojándome de todo. Como resultado del problema, contraté a un abogado local que me pidió un pago inicial para manejar mi caso, y durante más de un año y medio el abogado no hizo nada para ayudarme ni darme respuestas. Cuando comencé a pedir respuestas, desistió del caso sin más explicaciones. Ahora tengo que buscar un nuevo abogado al que le tengo que pagar seis mil dólares para que considere mi caso. Como resultado de que mi negocio fue tomado y lo perdí todo, es imposible para mí conseguir esta cantidad de dinero. Perdí todo lo que tenía y me he endeudado de tal manera que no tengo a nadie más a quien recurrir. Como resultado de esta situación, también he sufrido un estrés/ansiedad severo que me ha hecho agregar facturas médicas a mi deuda. (English) My name is Ysmael Artiles, I am a Dominican resident in the city of Perth Amboy, NJ, for several years. I am the sole provider for my family here and also in my country since I have to provide for my mother who has a medical condition that requires many expenses. I was the owner of a restaurant in Perth Amboy, NJ, and on September 14, 2022 the owner of the building illegally, without an order from any state institution, changed the locks of my business, stripping me of everything. As a result of the problem, I hired local lawyer who asked me for initial payment to handle my case, and for more than a year and a half the lawyer didn't do anything to help me or gave me answers. When I started asking for answers, he gave up on the case without further explanation. Now I have to look for a new lawyer to whom I have to pay six thousand dollars so he can consider my case. As a result of my business being taken and losing everything, it's impossible for me to come up with this amount of money. I lost everything I had, and I have gone into debt in such a way that I have no one else to turn to. As a result of this situation, I have also suffered severe stress/anxiety that has caused me to add medical bills to my debt.
