Get Isabella to HIMA Festival in Iceland This Summer! Hello Everyone! My name is Isabella Mier, I am a proud rising Violist from Los Angeles CA, currently undergoing my Bachelors of Music in Performance. I’m reaching out to you with an exciting blessed opportunity that I was offered and would love your support to make a reality. I’ve been given the amazing chance to attend the infamous HIMA Festival in Iceland this summer; a unique music intensive that includes chamber music, multiple coaching, masterclasses, along with a solo performance in the city capitol, Reykjavík! One of the most breathtaking locations on Earth. My HIMA 2024 Acceptance! ❤️ Why HIMA Festival? The HIMA Festival is not just any festival. It’s a gathering of artists, musicians, and mentors from all around the world, coming together to share their passion and creativity. Attending HIMA will provide me with an immense source of inspiration, pushing the boundaries of my creativity and artistic vision; preparing me to take off in my uprising career as a young soloist! Below are some of my recent competition wins from around the globe! Gold Star 2nd place internationally from Malaysia and Royal Maas 2nd place internationally for Netherlands! More to come soon! Why I Need Your Help Attending the HIMA Festival is a dream come true, but the costs associated with it are extremely significant. I come from the loving home of a single mother who does nothing but her best to try and support my musical journey as well as taking care of my younger brother ; unfortunately this year, we have struggled to come up with the full amount of my tuition and this sum of $2,890 is what’s left to cover. Here is a video of me playing the opening to the concerto I will perform as a soloist this summer at HIMA Iceland! The Walton Viola concerto is a extremely virtuosic piece with such passion and is famously known! Your support will not only help me attend the HIMA Festival, but it will also contribute to my growth as an artist and individual. I love participating in musical non-profits such as the orchestra I am principal of; I strive to give back to the community with free music for all and with love for free music education. I was recently was granted my 2nd award on May 20th 2024 by the Los Angeles County Board of Representatives for sharing my music with the community! I am proudly the Principal Violist of the Eisner Intergenerational Orchestra in the Heart of Los Angeles which is a non-profit orchestra giving back free music and performances to the community. I am the only female principal on board as well as the youngest! How You Can Help Every little bit helps, and no amount is too small.
