Hello!!! Dobrý den!!! Dear supporters, especially our dear Yukon citizens and customers!!! We are Vladislava and Devin, proud owners of Vladislava's Czech bakery and cafe' on Main street Yukon , Oklahoma. We love Yukon and we love our little Czech restaurant in Yukon! We believe that the place where we are now is not by coincidence . The reason is that we are here because we are trying to grow Czech heritage in Yukon! It was not easy to start our restaurant , especially in this hard time and economy inbalance. But .... IT HAPPENED! It's gonna be 3 years since we greeted our first customer. 3 years was a great lesson for both of us. We opened without any knowledge about restaurant bussines . Our faith and hope with a little savings was everything what we have had. It was our customers and supporters who were giving us energy and power to continue our journey. The best reward was to satisfy our customers and to put a smile on their faces. A big hug and neverending thanks for all of you ! At this time we have reached a point where we are thinking about growth and to take the next step. The same step like a little baby who is trying to take their first steps and needs support from their parents . We are in the same situation . We also need a little support. We are here today to ask you for your help and support. We are here to ask you if you would love to help us to grow our Czech heritage and culture. Our dining room needs remodeling after 50 years. We would love to serve more people and realize more ideas. It requires to hire more employes. Untill now is just 2 people who are running restaurant and bakery. Me and my partner Devin . Also a big thanks to his supportive parents. Small bussines is hard for everyone , especially if you are running a small family bussines. There is no room for vacation. In our case we don't have any replacement or employee. With our budget we have to rely on each other during these times of high inflation . That's why we decided to share our story here and ask you for your support. You can check our reviews, pictures, you can find us on the tv series Discover Oklahoma. You can stop by and try our traditional Czech kolache or Czech food like sauerkraut , klobasa, pork schnitzel, Czech bread dumplings , rye bread . People asking for Czech beer too:) well.... not in this time:( Somebody posted on ouf fb review that our restaurant is very unique place with amazing atmosphere , excelent food and kolache , but our menu is limited. Yes , that's right and we know that. And thats the reason why we started thinking about making some changes and continuing to grow the bussines. We know we can do it !!! And we know you can understand that. Your support will be reward for all of us . We strongly believe that YUKON deserves it !!! We have an awesome Czech festival once a year , Czech dancing hall on Czech road and authentic Czech restaurant and bakery on Main street. Thats a magnet for tourists over all USA. Let's make Yukon unique place on the map !!! Let's be proud of everything that we have here!!! Czech culture is living here more than a century and it's only about us if we help this heritage stay alive another century!!!
