Hello Beautiful Family! We are Paula and Anthony Hunter, the proud co-owners and founders of The Black Italian Restaurant and Catering in Louisville, KY. Since 2009, we've had the honor of sharing our hearts and heritage through our unique blend of Italian Soul food. It’s been our joy to bring people together over meals that reflect the love and passion we pour into every dish. Over the years, we've also been deeply committed to serving our community, providing meals to those in need through partnerships with organizations like The Lee Initiative, Apron Inc, Dare to Care, Norton Festival of Lights, Norton Children’s Hospital, and various non-profit groups. We've had the privilege of supporting the volunteers who cared for Officer Wilt and other unsung heroes in our community. Today, we are thrilled to share some incredible news with you all: We've been selected to film our very own cooking show, set to air this Winter 2024 in front of a potential audience of 68 million viewers! This opportunity is truly a dream come true, and we couldn’t be more excited to take this next step in our culinary journey. In less than 3 weeks, On September 4, we’ll be traveling to New York to film our Pilot episode. If we can get 1% of the viewers to like us and watch, we have the opportunity to come back and film a 12 episode series! However, we need your help to make this dream a reality. We are seeking to raise $12,000 to cover our studio costs and additional expenses while we’re away.
