Donate to Help The Baby Fight for His Life, organized by Allison Riverview Rescue

He didn't make it. Rare autoimmune red cells attacked his body. Still have to pay vet costs & would like to get cremated. Hi, my name is Allison and I'm raising money for The Baby. On Wednesday, The Baby was lethargic. Thursday morning, I found him extremely lifeless on the floor. He had throw up on his chin and urine on his leg. I rushed him to the vet clinic as soon as it opened. The vet called around noon and said he had low liver levels, thought it might be FIV, a bladder infection, and low bilirubin. He was hospitalized and put on fluids and oral antibiotics. They thought he would be okay. Friday, he was still not eating and had low liver levels. The vet said it might be bile duct problems and wanted to keep The Baby there all weekend on fluids. Now it's not so optimistic. It can go either way. I'll get a call if he gets a lot better or if he takes a turn for the worse. This is an awful feeling, not knowing and not being able to call and check. The vet clinic isn't open on the weekends, and during the week, they're so busy I can barely get through to even ask. I trust my vet fully and know he'll do everything to try and save him. I rescued The Baby from a humane society, fostering him at 4 months until he was old enough to officially adopt. There's no cause for this, most likely genetics. The first 4 months of his life were probably not ideal. His vet costs for the first 36 hours were already $1,200, and after the weekend, around $1,800. If he's the same on Monday, tests will get redone and I can bring him home, hopefully. My poor baby is so sick. I have $800 of the vet bill covered but need $1,000 more. I also run a cow rescue. Every dime I've had goes to them. I've been off work as I fractured 2 bones in my leg. I'm severely immune deficient. I don't make antibodies or have an immune system, which has delayed healing. Also, I'm anaphylactic to all medication, so that hasn't helped. Just healing has zapped a lot of my energy. So, I couldn't care for the cows, work, and heal. I've run into a hard situation with hay not being quality, plus large vet bills, and needing special food. Asking for help for a load of hay needed immediately. $200x10=$2,000. I'll need around 500 bales this winter. Also, buying cookies at $45 per day. This is the hardest things have been. I'm really struggling. I do everything alone as I live in the beef state and am the only one saving cows. I grew up on the other side and made this choice. I am a huge animal lover, as that's how I was raised. My mom was a big animal lover. She passed away 3 years ago on the 15th, which also adds to this emotional time. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Read more

Why GoFundMe Articles and URLs Appear on Our Website and How We Support Other GoFundMe Campaigns

At LFEBridge Foundation, we are dedicated to creating a platform where individuals and organizations can maximize their fundraising efforts. As part of our commitment to supporting a wide range of causes, we incorporate articles and URLs from GoFundMe into our website. Here’s why you might see GoFundMe content on our site, how it benefits the fundraising community, and our relationship with GoFundMe:

1. Amplifying Reach for Fundraising Campaigns

  • Increased Visibility: By featuring GoFundMe articles and URLs on our platform, we help increase the visibility of various fundraising campaigns. This additional exposure can attract more donors and supporters, helping campaigns achieve their goals more quickly.

  • Cross-Promotional Opportunities: Highlighting campaigns from GoFundMe allows us to support a broader spectrum of causes and connect with a wider audience. This cross-promotion benefits both the campaign organizers and potential donors looking for causes to support.

2. Supporting Campaign Growth

  • Advertising and Promotion: We understand the importance of visibility in successful fundraising. By showcasing GoFundMe campaigns, we provide an advertising platform that helps these campaigns reach potential donors who might not have discovered them otherwise.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Collaborating with GoFundMe and featuring their campaigns on our site strengthens the fundraising ecosystem, ensuring that worthwhile causes receive the attention and support they deserve.

3. Expanding Donor Networks

  • Broader Donor Base: Featuring a variety of campaigns from different platforms helps diversify and expand the donor base. This means more people can learn about and contribute to a variety of causes, ultimately driving higher engagement and donations.

  • Enhanced Outreach: By integrating GoFundMe content, we help campaigns tap into new networks and communities, broadening their reach and potential impact.

How We Help Other GoFundMe Campaigns Grow

1. Featured Campaigns Section

  • Highlighting Noteworthy Campaigns: We have a dedicated section on our website where we feature noteworthy GoFundMe campaigns. This not only gives these campaigns a spotlight but also encourages visitors to explore and contribute to them.

  • Rotating Features: To ensure a diverse range of campaigns get visibility, we regularly rotate the featured campaigns. This continuous update keeps the content fresh and engaging for our audience.

2. Social Media Promotion

  • Sharing Across Platforms: We share selected GoFundMe campaigns on our social media channels to reach a broader audience. Our followers, in turn, can share these posts, amplifying the reach even further.

  • Engagement Strategies: Utilizing effective engagement strategies, such as storytelling and compelling visuals, we enhance the appeal of these campaigns, driving more traffic and donations.

3. Email Newsletters

  • Campaign Highlights: Our email newsletters often include highlights of impactful GoFundMe campaigns. By doing so, we bring these causes directly to the inboxes of our subscribers, encouraging more people to get involved and donate.

  • Donor Updates: We keep our donors informed about the progress and success of the campaigns they have supported, fostering a sense of community and continued engagement.

LFEBridge Foundation's Independence

It’s important to clarify that LFEBridge Foundation is an independent entity and is not part of or affiliated with GoFundMe. While we feature and support GoFundMe campaigns on our site, we operate as a separate foundation dedicated to collecting donations for various causes, similar to GoFundMe. Many of these causes are displayed on our website to provide donors with a wide range of options to support.
