Donate to Help Teina with Medical and Living Expenses while recovering, organized by Kelli Mason

Hi to all of our friends and family. Some of you know but most do not. My mom suffered a heart attack this past Sunday, after many tests and a procedure to see if they can open up her damaged arteries the Cardiologist and Surgeon have decided that she needs to have Bypass Surgery. Her heart is pretty sick so she is not allowed to leave the hospital until the surgery is done. We have thought that was going to happen already a couple of times however it has yet to happen due to further testing they need to do. See my mother was pretty sick over this last year due to having an unknown hernia as well as an esophageal stricture (narrowing of her esophagus). Due to this my mom lost an extreme amount of weight and was doing everything she could just to get fat in her body. It took months upon months to finally get her in to get these two issues fixed but, she finally did get it all fixed and was feeling and doing great. She was very slowly putting weight on again and was actually able to eat REAL FOOD again and then after just about a month or two she started having issues again and of course it has just continued to get worse. So she made an appt to have the procedure done again as this is something she will have to continue to get done over her lifetime. However now that she is in the hospital she wont be able to have that surgery with her normal doctor but she also cant have her Bypass Surgery until they get in there to do the esophagus stretching again. They have to do this surgery first because 1. the anesthesiologist needs to be able to stick a scope down her esophagus and if it has shrunk down as much as we think it has there is no way he will be able to get that scope where he needs to, 2. she is going to have more meds for her heart she will have to take after the Bypass Surgery and if she cant swallow she will not be able to take her medication, which is crucial to her recovery and staying healthy. So with all that being said she now has to have two surgeries. First a small one for her esophagus and then her big one, the Bypass Surgery. As I am sure you all know just Bypass Surgery alone is a very long healing process and now she is waiting to have this other procedure done first, so now there is more and more time being added to the time she will be unable to work. Most of you know my mom has her own cleaning business and has amazing clients but unfortunately while she is recovering she will not be able to return to work thus having absolutely no income. So I have decided to put this GoFundMe together for her. My mother loves taking care of people especially her family and her CLIENTS. My hopes and prayers are that we can all now come together to help make sure she is well taken care of and has nothing to worry about during her recovery. My mother of course wants to go back to work as soon as possible but as her daughter and I know I speak for my brother and all of her grandchildren as well, I want her home healing and recovering for as long as the doctors and her surgeon says she needs to. When I spoke to the cardiologist with my mother yesterday he said she needs to be out of work (due to her occupation being physical) for 2 1/2-3 months and no driving for that long as well. We all just want to help her the best we can so we all have this amazing woman for 30 more years. We would all be so grateful if you can donate, no amount is to small and if you cant donate we also are accepting prayers and well wishes. Each one is needed just as much as the next. If you can also share this to any social media platform you use we would greatly appreciate it! You truly do not know how much this means to all of us! I want to thank you all in advance for just taking the time to read this. I do not know how I would be able to go on living my own life without my mother. So I need to do everything in my power to make sure she has everything she needs to feel comfortable staying home till the doctors say she is ok to return to work! I will most definitely be posting updates as we find out more as well as when her surgery is. Thank you all again and please stay healthy and safe! Read more

Why GoFundMe Articles and URLs Appear on Our Website and How We Support Other GoFundMe Campaigns

At LFEBridge Foundation, we are dedicated to creating a platform where individuals and organizations can maximize their fundraising efforts. As part of our commitment to supporting a wide range of causes, we incorporate articles and URLs from GoFundMe into our website. Here’s why you might see GoFundMe content on our site, how it benefits the fundraising community, and our relationship with GoFundMe:

1. Amplifying Reach for Fundraising Campaigns

  • Increased Visibility: By featuring GoFundMe articles and URLs on our platform, we help increase the visibility of various fundraising campaigns. This additional exposure can attract more donors and supporters, helping campaigns achieve their goals more quickly.

  • Cross-Promotional Opportunities: Highlighting campaigns from GoFundMe allows us to support a broader spectrum of causes and connect with a wider audience. This cross-promotion benefits both the campaign organizers and potential donors looking for causes to support.

2. Supporting Campaign Growth

  • Advertising and Promotion: We understand the importance of visibility in successful fundraising. By showcasing GoFundMe campaigns, we provide an advertising platform that helps these campaigns reach potential donors who might not have discovered them otherwise.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Collaborating with GoFundMe and featuring their campaigns on our site strengthens the fundraising ecosystem, ensuring that worthwhile causes receive the attention and support they deserve.

3. Expanding Donor Networks

  • Broader Donor Base: Featuring a variety of campaigns from different platforms helps diversify and expand the donor base. This means more people can learn about and contribute to a variety of causes, ultimately driving higher engagement and donations.

  • Enhanced Outreach: By integrating GoFundMe content, we help campaigns tap into new networks and communities, broadening their reach and potential impact.

How We Help Other GoFundMe Campaigns Grow

1. Featured Campaigns Section

  • Highlighting Noteworthy Campaigns: We have a dedicated section on our website where we feature noteworthy GoFundMe campaigns. This not only gives these campaigns a spotlight but also encourages visitors to explore and contribute to them.

  • Rotating Features: To ensure a diverse range of campaigns get visibility, we regularly rotate the featured campaigns. This continuous update keeps the content fresh and engaging for our audience.

2. Social Media Promotion

  • Sharing Across Platforms: We share selected GoFundMe campaigns on our social media channels to reach a broader audience. Our followers, in turn, can share these posts, amplifying the reach even further.

  • Engagement Strategies: Utilizing effective engagement strategies, such as storytelling and compelling visuals, we enhance the appeal of these campaigns, driving more traffic and donations.

3. Email Newsletters

  • Campaign Highlights: Our email newsletters often include highlights of impactful GoFundMe campaigns. By doing so, we bring these causes directly to the inboxes of our subscribers, encouraging more people to get involved and donate.

  • Donor Updates: We keep our donors informed about the progress and success of the campaigns they have supported, fostering a sense of community and continued engagement.

LFEBridge Foundation's Independence

It’s important to clarify that LFEBridge Foundation is an independent entity and is not part of or affiliated with GoFundMe. While we feature and support GoFundMe campaigns on our site, we operate as a separate foundation dedicated to collecting donations for various causes, similar to GoFundMe. Many of these causes are displayed on our website to provide donors with a wide range of options to support.
