My name is Melissa. My family and I have rescued, fostered, rehomed, spay/neutered over 300 cats/kittens over the last 20 years. We have had an amazing person cover most of the spay/neutered part of this, but the extra stuff like antibiotics, eye ointments, kitten formula, vaccinations, food, and litter have come out of our own pockets. We have had the occasional donation every now and then, for which we are truly grateful. We are currently engaging in an effort to get as many cats spay/neutered before the weather changes. With that effort, we want to raise funds to have them vaccinated as well to stop the spread of diseases that usually result in slow, painful deaths. Any contribution would go towards this effort. My daughters all learned at young ages the terrible consequences of unwanted kittens and disease. We have all cried over the ones we couldn't save.
