Donate to Help me Installing a Research Observatory under Tuscan Skies, organized by Marco Bozzi

[ENGLISH VERSION BELOW] Buongiorno a tutti! Ve ne racconto uno in particolare. Cieli sereni! Titolare e intestatario campagna: ------- Marco Bozzi C.F.: BZZMRC83D21F205U IBAN: IT10Q0306933480000014595144 (int. Marco Bozzi) ------- [ENGLISH VERSION] Cheers everyone! My name is Marco Bozzi. Born in Milan, Italy, in 1983. I never thought I would end up here, but evidently, my dreams are truly bigger than me. Let me tell you about one in particular. I never quite understood what I would do when I grew up. But, all in all, it's okay. If my path, not too linear as often happens, has given me an economic and managerial education and with it access to the world of work, I have never abandoned two great loves that (my family knows very well) I have had since I was a child: the mathematics of nature and the sky. And the two things, then, are not even so far apart as it might seem. I have pursued these passions (sometimes mistreating them) and cultivated them thanks also to the support of mom and dad and to that of fundamental, albeit fortunate, friendships and acquaintances that have taught me more and more, also from the point of view of the advanced math. Chasing these loves brought me here, at forty, finally choosing to embark on physical sciences with a focus on theoretical physics and, alongside this, finally realizing the project and launching of an astronomical observatory for spectroscopic research. And it is precisely for the latter that, although it is not that easy, I would like to ask for your support to make it happen. For me, looking at the sky is remembering. My first yellow telescope and the subsequent ones. The books about planets that I read during summer camp. The winter nights spent observing the lunar eclipses on Jupiter or the summer ones on the hills of Emilia-Romagna and the voice of my grandma. Curious friendships. My brother pretending to be my assistant. The blooming African skies, as I observe them with my fellow volunteers. For me, looking at the sky is like heading home. Returning, somehow, to live happy moments and having people who are no longer here by my side. And I discovered it late. Indeed, because now I know that somewhere in the sky, looking down here, someway the years haven't even passed. The project I want to realize is called "Pasta di Stelle Blu" ("Stuff of Blue Stars"), inspired by the title of a poem I wrote in 2020. A PROJECT, A DREAM At the heart of the project lies the idea of carrying out astrophotographic and spectroscopic research through the purchase of an existing and operational astronomical observatory, located in the Astronomical Center of Manciano (Tuscany, Italy) at Agriturismo 'La Svolta' . However, it will be a matter of giving it a revamping and a new configuration suitable for the premises. The project idea will include: Robotized fiberglass dome Scopedome 3 Main instrument Ritchey-Chretien 16” (406mm) f/8 astrograph Secondary instrument 4” (102mm) f/7 apochromatic triplet refractor Equatorial mount operative capacity 55Kg Spectrograph 400-700nm res. ~1000 at 23µm Remote control systems, shooting and digital equipment Consultant for this realization is Plinio Camaiti, a highly skilled technician and published author of great renown in the world of astronomy. Part of the necessary funds will come from the sale of my current instrument park, and I will promptly publish important updates on this campaign. In the hoped-for case of installation, those who make a request will be my guest at the same Agriturismo 'La Svolta' in Manciano in the beautiful Tuscany. Thank you, hoping you can give me a hand. Why GoFundMe Articles and URLs Appear on Our Website and How We Support Other GoFundMe Campaigns

At LFEBridge Foundation, we are dedicated to creating a platform where individuals and organizations can maximize their fundraising efforts. As part of our commitment to supporting a wide range of causes, we incorporate articles and URLs from GoFundMe into our website. Here’s why you might see GoFundMe content on our site, how it benefits the fundraising community, and our relationship with GoFundMe:

1. Amplifying Reach for Fundraising Campaigns

  • Increased Visibility: By featuring GoFundMe articles and URLs on our platform, we help increase the visibility of various fundraising campaigns. This additional exposure can attract more donors and supporters, helping campaigns achieve their goals more quickly.
