Donate to Help Debra with her unexpected life changing medical expense, organized by Stephanie 1 Tringali

Hello, My name is Stephanie. I can't believe I am writing this. My mother is who I am making this GoFundMe for. Two years ago my mom had COVID. It hit her hard. She became so sick I thought I was going to lose her. Thankfully after a long scary week, she started to feel better. Soon after her recovery, she began to have stomach pains. At first, she was able to tolerate them. Then with each day, the stomach pains became worse and worse. She got to the point where she would start missing work. So then came the doctor's visits. My mom went to the doctors over 40 times all for them to find nothing wrong. Until one day they ordered an ultrasound of my mom's heart. That is where they found a heart murmur. From there she went to see a cardiologist. The cardiologist found something. He had found a very rare tumor on her aortic valve. This was heartbreaking. After talking to the doctor for a bit we realized how lucky we were to have found this. Any longer and she may have had a stroke or heart attack. After finding this out we had an appointment pretty quickly. On the way to her appointment she nearly passed out while driving. She pulled over to try and feel better but started vomiting and was almost non responsive. I quickly called 911. They rushed her to the hospital. They were able to get her stable that day and quickly had her scheduled for open-heart surgery to remove the tumor. After a few days in the hospital and running every test possible they got her in for surgery. Open heart surgery was a success! Yay! Or so we thought. She woke up screaming in pain. She was sweating profusely and couldn't catch her breath from the pain. She had to go back into emergency surgery. They then found she had necrotic bowels. Her intestines were black! We don't know for sure but we believe the heart tumor was releasing small blood clots to her kidneys and intestines. Once the first surgery happened, it was all down hill from there. My mom became very sick. She had gone septic two times and nearly dying each time. Between two hospitals she had 17 surgeries, tracheostomy, dialysis, ileostomy (which her stoma died two times before the last one survived and is doing well.) She had plat late transfusions, and was intubated for far too long. She spent nearly 9 months in the hospital. She truly fought to live. Now she has SBS which stands for (short bowel syndrome.) She has just enough small intestines to live. That is a very hard life change. She also has TPN (Total parenteral nutrition) every single day for 12 hours. She needs this to live and meet nutritional daily goals. She also needs to take a handful of vitamins and medication. After both hospitals my mom still needed 24/7 care. She went to a rehab hospital and a nursing home rehab center. She had to learn to walk again. She had to learn to use her hands and even hold her head up. She dealt with bed sores and severe back pain. Life has completely changed in a blink of an eye. My mother went from working 40 hours per week at her job working with special needs children who are severely cognitively impaired for over 20 years to being almost bed ridden. Life is very emotionally hard and physically draining. She had no choice but to retire from a job she loved. I could write a novel on what my mom went through but this is the short version. Now things are starting to get bad financially. My mother needs help. She can not work and bills just keep adding up on top of all the medical bills. It truly isn't fair what happened to her so I am asking the world for help! Warning some photos may be graphic! August 2nd 2022 to present Read more

Why GoFundMe Articles and URLs Appear on Our Website and How We Support Other GoFundMe Campaigns

At LFEBridge Foundation, we are dedicated to creating a platform where individuals and organizations can maximize their fundraising efforts. As part of our commitment to supporting a wide range of causes, we incorporate articles and URLs from GoFundMe into our website. Here’s why you might see GoFundMe content on our site, how it benefits the fundraising community, and our relationship with GoFundMe:

1. Amplifying Reach for Fundraising Campaigns

  • Increased Visibility: By featuring GoFundMe articles and URLs on our platform, we help increase the visibility of various fundraising campaigns. This additional exposure can attract more donors and supporters, helping campaigns achieve their goals more quickly.

  • Cross-Promotional Opportunities: Highlighting campaigns from GoFundMe allows us to support a broader spectrum of causes and connect with a wider audience. This cross-promotion benefits both the campaign organizers and potential donors looking for causes to support.

2. Supporting Campaign Growth

  • Advertising and Promotion: We understand the importance of visibility in successful fundraising. By showcasing GoFundMe campaigns, we provide an advertising platform that helps these campaigns reach potential donors who might not have discovered them otherwise.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Collaborating with GoFundMe and featuring their campaigns on our site strengthens the fundraising ecosystem, ensuring that worthwhile causes receive the attention and support they deserve.

3. Expanding Donor Networks

  • Broader Donor Base: Featuring a variety of campaigns from different platforms helps diversify and expand the donor base. This means more people can learn about and contribute to a variety of causes, ultimately driving higher engagement and donations.

How We Help Other GoFundMe Campaigns Grow

1. Featured Campaigns Section

  • Highlighting Noteworthy Campaigns: We have a dedicated section on our website where we feature noteworthy GoFundMe campaigns. This not only gives these campaigns a spotlight but also encourages visitors to explore and contribute to them.

  • Rotating Features: To ensure a diverse range of campaigns get visibility, we regularly rotate the featured campaigns. This continuous update keeps the content fresh and engaging for our audience.

2. Social Media Promotion

  • Sharing Across Platforms: We share selected GoFundMe campaigns on our social media channels to reach a broader audience. Our followers, in turn, can share these posts, amplifying the reach even further.

  • Engagement Strategies: Utilizing effective engagement strategies, such as storytelling and compelling visuals, we enhance the appeal of these campaigns, driving more traffic and donations.

3. Email Newsletters

  • Campaign Highlights: Our email newsletters often include highlights of impactful GoFundMe campaigns. By doing so, we bring these causes directly to the inboxes of our subscribers, encouraging more people to get involved and donate.

LFEBridge Foundation's Independence

It’s important to clarify that LFEBridge Foundation is an independent entity and is not part of or affiliated with GoFundMe. While we feature and support GoFundMe campaigns on our site, we operate as a separate foundation dedicated to collecting donations for various causes, similar to GoFundMe. Many of these causes are displayed on our website to provide donors with a wide range of options to support.
