Karla has lost 25 pounds from this cancer. However, she has started eating better. She wasn't able to eat anything for awhile. Our search for a medical provider who accepts patients without insurance continues to be challenging. Karla experiences constant pain, though medication helps manage it. We remain determined to find solutions and haven't given up hope. We've explored every avenue suggested to us, but the journey has been futile. We are very thankful to those who have offered their support, both physically and spiritually. The financial assistance has been a great source of encouragement and motivation, as well as helpful. We are still saving/raising funds to get Karla a PET Scan, to better determine the exact source and locations of the cancer. This will let us know exactly what needs to be done and what stage of cancer we are dealing with. Through it all, Karla's unwavering faith in God and the Lordship of Jesus Christ sustains her.
