Hello, My name is Sirikit Lewis and I recently turned 50 years old. I was just let go from my job and have no benefits because I wasn't fully vested. After learning this and applying for anything to help in this difficult time and being denied over a hundred times, I decided to ask the public for help. Believe me, this was my last recourse, but I am just trusting God in all things. I have literally nothing: no vehicle owned, no residence owned, no food to even eat. Life is just hard, but my hardships didn't just start; I kept on moving forward. I am just a human who has never given up on trying to survive. I am seeking a little help to try and pay the person who rents me a room so I can have a roof until I find some employment again. I just recovered from being homeless; now I'm finding myself hopeless and desperate. Putting my story on here was probably the hardest thing today, wondering what others would think of me. But I can't wonder right now. I am simply trying to survive and get to the next day to find my way again. I know that this may not feel to some as a much-needed cry for help, but it definitely is for me because I have nothing, just trying to get through this month and hopefully find some employment. So I'm asking for a little help to pay my room and board and car payment because without these things, I really won't have hope or a way to seek employment.
