Hello all, Disclaimer: This is not a Greenbrier Christian Academy fundraiser but a parent led one. As our runners excitedly enter another season with Greenbrier Christian Academy Cross Country (XC) to watch our young athletes set records, I wanted to share with everyone an awesome opportunity for us to give towards youth sports and this team. Last XC season, my husband Bobby, noticed 3 things about our school tent. #1 it was extremely small and did not accommodate all of our runners and their gear. #2 It was broken often and causing frustration for those setting it up - sometimes it wasn’t even on site. #3 it appeared to greatly lack GCA School Spirit. In addition, parents would often have to search high and low for our athletes because we were one of the only schools that didn’t have our school name on our tent. The new tent will be customized with our school name and logo, and it will be two times larger than the prior broken one!! It is beautiful! We would love for the team to present Coach Smith with this tent prior to our first XC meet. As I am sure you would agree, Coach Smith has dedicated countless hours (many outside school hours) to establish an amazing group of young athletes on our XC team. This will be her 6th year as their coach.
